My first thought was “WOW, $484 for one and do they really need two, what a waste.” Then my second thought was “well they are celebrities and can afford it so . . .” I don’t have their kind of money and don’t think I would buy it for $484. I know for sure that if I did have the money I’d only buy one, Oh well to each their own, right!

$500 is not a shocking price for a bag, handbags get really expensive when you start looking at high fashion brands. I don’t think I’ll ever pay that much for a bag but that’s because I don’t have the money. Since theirs is not even a proper diaper bag the price doesn’t surprise me, and Jessica can keep using it as a handbag.

I don’t see $500 for a bag, as too bad. Especially if you have the money, that’s a bargain. This may sound odd, but my daughter is 2 and half and I have never taken a diaper bag with me. I jsut throw a diaper and travel wipes in my purse and take a sippy with us. I seems silly to pack everything from bandaids to extra clothes, just for an outing.

What a great looking couple! Not sure I would pay $500 for a bag to throw all of my kids stuff in as the snacks and drinks always spill in the bags, but to each is own.

I bought a Kate Spade diaper bag when my son was born. It wasn’t $500, but it wasn’t cheap either. I’ve paid $500 for a bag before… more than once. I guess I have more money than brains! I like Jessica’s bag but I gotta say it looks like Cash accidentally grabbed her purse on the way out the door. Not exactly masculine! lol

Jessica Alba and her ilk, get papped daily. Their photos are published on websites and magazines all over the world. Brands know this and send tonnes of freebies to celebrities like Alba for what is super cheap advertising. Even if they wear the bag/shoes/clothes just once in public, it works as a celebrity endorsement and an ad campaign for the brand.

At the moment there are lots of celebs being papped holding their iPads in public (particularly Mylee Cyrus), while they undoubtedly have the money to buy these, they are gifted by Apple so their product is papped along with the celeb.
