Supermodel (and Mom) Veronica Webb’s Top Summer Skincare Tips

Marion Curtis/Startraks

Clearly, Veronica Webb knows a thing or two about great skincare.

The 45-year-old model — and mom of two — has an amazing complexion, but she admits she didn’t really take care of her skin properly until she became a mother.

Now, she is so dedicated to good skin health that she recently became a spokesperson for Eucerin‘s new Skin First Council to help promote healthy skin.

So who better to give us tips on keeping moisturized and protected during the warm-weather months?

She even has good advice on getting your little ones covered with that necessary SPF.

Here’s what she had to say:

Make sun protection fun. “When applying sunscreen on my kids, we play Simon Says. That way it’s a pleasure rather than a nuisance.”

Moisturize during your downtime. “Every time I sit down to return emails or work on my comp for a while, I apply lotion to my feet and elbows. Making the time for yourself during your day is so important and your skin appreciates it too.”

Be creative. “For really dry skin, add 2 cups of table salt to the bathtub — it helps to draw moisture from the deepest layer of the skin just like sea salt water.”

Learn more about taking care of your complexion by going to Eucerin.com to take the healthy skin pledge.
