Maggie Rodriguez Welcomes Son Michael Tobin

It’s a boy for Maggie Rodriguez!

The Early Show co-anchor delivered son Michael Tobin Rodriguez Jr. on Sunday, June 13 at 6:20 p.m., weighing in at 7 lbs., 1 oz. He joins big sister Daniella, 5.

“It was love at first sight! Daddy Mike, big sister Daniella and I feel blessed to have such a special addition to our family,” Rodriguez, 40, wrote in an e-mail to friends and family.

She and husband Michael Rodriguez announced the pregnancy in January. Her due date had been July 1.

congrats on the baby boy rodriguez family! love the name. it would have been cute as either tobin michael or michael tobin! nice sized baby too for being over 2 weeks early. i love watching her on the early show. i try to watch her every morning during the school year but not during the summer cuz i like my sleep!

We left for Vacation on a Cruise on June 9th & Returned on June 19th. I knew you were due on July 1st ,but you were already gone from the Early show when we got back. I watch the Early Show every single morning starting at 8Am till it ends. I NEVER EVER heard a single word mentioned about you having delivered on the 14th. I even wrote an email to CBS inquiring about your status & they Never Responded. I’ve done a search twice this week on the internet & all that came up was your professional profiles….FINALLY TODAY a search on People Mag site & I Got the answer I was looking for. Congrats on your new baby boy Maggie..You will be missed while on maternity leave.

Congratulations (late)……I used to watch the show all the time, but my schedule changed. Now I’m watching again, and wish they would keep viewers informed.
