It seems so obvious that feeding your nanny is the right thing to do.

I agree that you should feed your nanny (or at least offer). The one summer I nannied though, I found it easier for me to pack a lunch. The baby would only take 20-30 minute naps so it was easier for me to have a lunch already made that I could eat while she slept. If I had to try and make the meal then I wouldn’t have time to eat.

About hiding veggies in the food… I think there is nothing wrong with putting veggies, etc. in other foods. However, I do think you should be honest with your child especially once they’ve tasted the food. If you are worried they won’t try the food if they know what it is in it, then have them try it and then say “I’m glad you liked it. There are carrots in there!” Discuss how they probably couldn’t even tell!

i agree with feeding the nanny or allowing her to eat your food. she’s taking care of your child, so you might not want her to be going to buy food and stuff. taking your own lunch is a good idea too.

I nannied part time for a lovely family when I was in college, and they always had food in the fridge for me and would often stock the cupboards with my favourite foods
