Christina Aguilera gives son Max Liron a kiss as they head back to their hotel after shopping in Soho Friday in New York City.

The singer — along with husband Jordan Bratman and their 2-year-old son — is in Manhattan promoting her new album, Bionic.

Hitting stores next month, Aguilera performed the lead single, “Not Myself Tonight,” during a live broadcast of The Oprah Winfrey Show at Radio City Music Hall.

Toni Braxton and Diezel Participate in PSA

Diezel Ky strikes a pose on set with mom Toni Braxton during the filming of WEtv’s ‘We Volunteer‘ public service announcement, taped at the American Movie Company Thursday in N.Y.C.

The singer was highlighting her work with Autism Speaks, an organization she became involved with after Diezel’s diagnosis in 2006.

Thankfully, her 7-year-old son is making great strides these days.

“He started mainstream school and he’s more social,” Braxton, 43, told PEOPLE Moms & Babies at the event. “His speech is coming along wonderfully.”

“He’s doing great,” she says, adding that Diezel works with an occupational therapist. “We’re really proud of his progress.”

Braxton and estranged husband Keri Lewis are also parents to elder son Denim Cole, 8.

Dad-to-Be Mario Lopez Hits the Books

As dad-to-be Mario Lopez prepares for the fall arrival of his first child with girlfriend Courtney Mazza, the Extra host has noticed one very important piece of information seems to be missing.

“I was actually looking for a book for a first-time father and couldn’t find one. I’ve decided I’m going to write one of my own,” he tells Pop Eater.

“Guys want to help, too. There are tons of books for moms, but dads want to know what’s going on with the lady and the baby both emotionally and physically.”

However, the experience is not completely lost on Lopez, who admits his eyes have been opened to all the struggles that can accompany a pregnancy.

“I’m learning a lot about how difficult it is just to even get pregnant and all the things that can go wrong,” the author of Extra Lean, 36, says. “I have a new respect for that whole process and miracle of birth.”

Taye Diggs ‘Would Never Ask’ for Baby No. 2

Despite the joys of fatherhood, actor Taye Diggs is leaving it up to wife Idina Menzel as to whether there will be a baby number two.

“I was in the room when my wife gave birth to Walker [Nathaniel], and after seeing that and going through the nine months of pregnancy with her, I would never ask,” says the first-time dad, who welcomed his son in September.

“I would never ask her for another child. If she wants to give me one because she wants to, I’m perfectly fine with that. I came from a large family, and I would love Walker to have some siblings.”

Quick not to rule out anything, Diggs, 39, says that “there’s also the idea of adoption. So we’ll see. It’s basically up to her. She’s the boss. It’s her body.”

After recently confirming she is expecting another baby, Jodie Sweetin debuted her bump while attending The Silver Spoon 4th Annual Dog and Baby Buffet Mother’s Day Event at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Century City, Calif., on Friday.

Baby-on-the-way will be Sweetin’s first with her boyfriend Morty Coyle.

The actress, 28, is also mom to daughter Zoie Laurelmae, 2, with ex-husband Cody Herpin.
