A friend who was very excited over the birth of her nephew just posted tons of hospital shots, including several with his anatomy on full display. Such photos may be precious for the parents and close family, I thought it was in very poor taste to post them on Facebook. The little guy may be weeks old, but he is entitled to privcy as much as anyone else, especially since he has no say in whether they get posted. When it comes to birth shots, less is more.

Facebook is ridiculous when it comes to those things. I have found so many people with naked shots, topless, making out shots etc. They always seem to just jump on the moms. I posted many of my birth pictures. My rule being no private parts. It was great to share that with my family and friends who could not be there. Actually, many of my overseas family would not even see any pictures of us were it not for facebook. LOL and it is much cheaper than long distance or awkwardly trying to talk with an annoying auntie etc.I posted breastfeeding pictures and said to hell with FB if they had a problem.
