1 Trend, 3 Ways: Cuddly Animal Blankets!

Babies love to feel comforted. But as Kai SchreiberSavannah Mahoney and Tabitha Broderick prove, a plain old security blanket just won’t do. These celeb tots would rather snuggle up with an animal blankie instead.

And we can see why. Small enough for tiny hands to tote around, they’re a fun toy and soft blanket all wrapped up in one.

Heck.. .these make ME want my own animal blanket. Adorable and great idea to be “kid-sized.”

My granmother used to make the stripy kind of blankie animals for her children and grand children, I still have my faded orange doll with sewed on knotted hat. I have also improvised knotted dolls and animals out of cloth diapers, scarves and recieving blankets in order to entertain babies and toddlers.

I also like the animal security blankets. Sure beats the heck out of the ole satin bordered thing our daughter adopted. My wife was almost ashamed of it. She kept whittling it down til it was about the size of a washcloth before she finally gave it up.
