Holly Robinson Peete gives daughter Ryan, 12, a squeeze as they promote their new book, My Brother Charlie, at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, held Saturday in Los Angeles, Calif.
“[The book] is all about her advocating for her brother,” Robinson Peete, 45, told Moms & Babies recently. “I’m really excited for it to … help children understand more about autism. She’s a beautiful young lady, and I’m so proud of her.”

Marcia Cross takes daughter Savannah for a spin at a Santa Monica, Calif. playground on Saturday afternoon.
The Desperate Housewives star, 48, was enjoying some park playtime with the 3-year-old and her twin sister Eden.
“As much as I wanted them, I guess I’m surprised at how fulfilling I find it,” Cross recently said of motherhood.

Having recently announced her separation from wife Tammy Lynn, Melissa Etheridge says she’s planning to offer her children “as much love as you can possibly slather on.”
While life as a single mom-of-four is no doubt daunting, the singer/songwriter, 48, plans to meet the challenge head-on.
“Live fearlessly — for yourself and your children,” she tells Babble.
“Know that the love you have for your kids is the only fuel they need and the only thing that will protect them and yourself. Know that love is more powerful than anyone’s fear or anyone’s misunderstanding of your life and your happiness.”
It should come as no surprise, then, that naming her new album Fearless Love was a natural choice for Etheridge.
“As my kids make choices in how they react to life, that place will either vibrate peacefully with a loving choice or will feel bad with a fearful choice,” she explains. “And if they always use the little barometer inside of them — that little gauge — then they can live a peaceful and fearless life.”

Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt, 3½, gets a big push from dad Brad Pitt on Saturday during a visit to a park in Venice, Italy.
Along with the Shiloh, the actor, 46, brought elder children Zahara Marley, 5, Pax Thien, 6½, and Maddox Chivan, 8½, as well.
The family remains in Europe as Angelina Jolie continues work on The Tourist.
