Carnie Wilson Says Daughter Is ‘Sensitive’ About Weight

Raising girls with a healthy body image is a challenge, and it’s one Carnie Wilson is facing right now with daughter Lola Sofia, 5.

In an interview with Babble, the singer and Newlywed Game host — also mom to Luciana Bella, 10 months, with husband Rob Bonfiglio — suggests that parents shower their children with “love and praise” while also working hard to build self-esteem.

“There are people of all different shapes and sizes, and I try to teach Lola that people aren’t as sensitive as she is,” Wilson, 41, reveals.

“She’s almost five, and that’s the age kids in school start to tease each other. It hurts her. I try to teach her that you can have thick skin, but still be sensitive.”

Super dad Seal‘s got his own cheering squad courtside, as sons Henry, 4½, and Johan, 3, show their team colors Tuesday at the Lakers-Thunder game at L.A.’s Staples Center, where the home team won 111-87. Looks like the Samuel ladies — Heidi, Leni and Lou — sat this one out!

Mark McGrath Welcomes Twins Lydon Edward and Hartley Grace

Thursday morning was twice as nice for rocker Mark McGrath and fiancée Carin Kingsland, who delivered twins — a boy and a girl — via c-section April 29 in Los Angeles.

Son Lydon Edward weighed in at 5 lbs., 7 oz. upon his arrival at 9:54 a.m., while daughter Hartley Grace was born at 9:55 a.m. weighing 4 lbs., 8 oz., McGrath’s rep tells PEOPLE exclusively.

“We are so lucky,” says McGrath. “I don’t think you can prepare for the love we are feeling.”

After 16 years of on-and-off dating, the Sugar Ray frontman, 42, and Kingsland, 37, an aesthetician, became engaged last New Year’s Eve and confirmed in April that they were expecting twins thanks to IVF.

Stepping out for some shopping, Chris Robinson and wife Allison Bridges were spotted with daughter Cheyenne Genevieve, 4 months, at the Brentwood Country Mart on Monday.

The Black Crowes frontman, 43, is currently enjoying hanging out with his girls — as well as son Ryder, 6 — before hitting the road in August with the band.

Celebrating their 20th anniversary, the Black Crowes will release an acoustic double album, Croweology, before going on indefinite hiatus once wrapping their tour in December.
