Liev Schreiber lays one on son Alexander ‘Sasha’ Pete, 2½, while headed to an East Village park with fiancée Naomi Watts and younger son Samuel Kai (not pictured) on Thursday in New York City.

Parenthood has been the perfect antidote to Schreiber’s sometimes serious roles, notes the actor.

“It’s been a total savior. [Sasha] is like, ‘Daddeeeeee!’ and he just wants to play,” explains Schreiber. “You dump the baggage right away and reconnect with all these human feelings.”

Liev Schreiber seems like a wonderful father and he has to be the MOST openly affectionate father I have ever seen!

they’re both so in love with their babes! i agree though, Liev is refeshingly open with his affection – but luckily, there are other dads like that, few they may be. Like, always, always, Hugh Jackman. COME ON! Every time he’s with Ava, who’s the sweetest thing, they’re always close together, laughing, or he’s biting her or kissing her. Love these dads!

AWWWW! That first photo is just adorable, and Sasha’s face is just the sweetest And it’s amazing how similar Sasha and Naomi look in that photo together.
I love how affectionate Liev is to his sons. It’s so gorgeous. Too few fathers display love for their children so openly, and I just think it’s the sweetest thing.
