Visitor on set!
In between shooting scenes for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit on Thursday, Mariska Hargitay received some love from her littlest fan: son August Miklos Friedrich!
A regular on the set, the 3 ½-year-old is the only child for Hargitay, 46, and husband Peter Hermann, although if she gets her wish, he won’t be her last!
“It’s in God’s hands,” she says of another baby. “But we’re always open to it.”

he’s a gorgeous boy… I hope he goes into acting (only as an adult, of course… like… after college… maybe after grad school)… cause he’d be great to watch if he’s half as good as either of his parents.

dfs- I’m guessing Maggie just meant that, given Mariska’s age, it’s not too likely that she’ll concieve another child, so, in her opinion, they’ll probably end up going the adoption route if they really want another child (in the interview linked to above, where Mariska discusses wanting another kid, it sounds like she and Peter would like another baby, but at the same time, if it isn’t meant to be, they’re okay with that, too. 
).
