Usher’s Advice on Parenting: Don’t Wear White

His wardrobe may be filled with crisp suits and coordinating fedoras, but Usher‘s sleek style is no match for his two young sons!

“Having kids man, don’t wear white. Have you ever had an explosion?” the singer asked George Lopez on Lopez Tonight Thursday. “Changing the diaper, obviously when they gotta go they gotta go.”

And for the star’s two sons Usher ‘Cinco’ Raymond V, 2 ½, and Naviyd Ely, 15 months, sometimes that sudden urge to go comes right on dad’s lap!

“I just decided, if anybody is going to [poop] on me it would be my kids,” he says. “That is real love, man. It’s like, ‘How do you produce this much doodoo?'”

But fatherhood is much more than dirty diapers and juice stains, Usher, 31, points out.

“One of the most incredible experiences in life is to be able to put all of your energy and effort into making sure that you raise an incredible young man,” he says of his children with ex-wife Tameka Foster.

“I have two young boys that I love very much and I just want them to be the most incredible young men that they can be.”

I actually don’t mind wearing white as a mom. It bleaches easily, and most of the time if I wear a nice colored shirt, it gets stained, and I can’t get it out. Wearing white in public is risky, but at home, it’s no biggie.

White clothes or not babies still have their way of leaving a stain. Cause spit ups are hard to wipe out of black.

I haven’t laughed so hard in a long time.

Too true, too true, white and babies just do not mix.
