When it comes to baby wearing, not every parent is comfortable slinging it.

For those who prefer a frame backpack style, the heavy-duty styling of some carriers can be overkill — if the middle ground suits you best, consider kokopax.

The company’s new City Carrier ($100) and Eco-Classic Carrier ($180, left in the pax “peace” print) are super lightweight and come loaded with lots of cool features — five-point harness, powder-coated frame, adjustable and padded shoulder straps and a sturdy kick stand for easy loading.

Weighing in at just 3 lbs, both carriers are designed for on-the-go parents and their kids. They’re even small enough to fit in the overhead storage compartment of an airplane.

If you’re into being green, the Eco-Classic Carrier is available in three cool eco-friendly cotton canvas prints. It also comes with a stowable, padded waist belt for added support and comfort.

Be sure to check out the pax protector ($25), a soft cloth that covers the area immediately in front of baby’s face. Not only does it provide a cozy resting place if baby grows tired of the view, it also helps keep the carrier clean.

But carriers aren’t all kokopax has to offer! We’re also loving the hobo-style Samantha Diaper Tote, and with five bold prints to choose from, you will too.

Mom Said It

"It helps that other moms had said that once they had their babies, they forgot they were ever pregnant. So once my focus became the baby and not the pregnancy, it was a very easy decision."
