Padma Lakshmi‘s on-and-off relationship with venture capitalist Adam Dell, who has been identified as the father of her newborn daughter Krishna Thea, is a topic the Top Chef host prefers to keep private — but the one person she is eager to talk about is her baby girl, now 4-weeks-old.
“She’s very independent and very funny. She’s a good communicator and is very witty already,” Lakshmi jokingly told PEOPLE at a launch event for Pampers with Dry Max, which was the perfect party for the new mom to attend.
“The girl changes her underwear like you would not believe,” said Lakshmi.
“She’s a big eater like her mom, so she has to go. We go through about 10 Pampers a day.”
Lashkmi is thankful she doesn’t have to juggle motherhood with her hosting duties on Top Chef just yet.
“Right now I’m not working, [but] when I go back to work I’ll have her with me,” she said. “[My life] is totally centered on my nursing schedule. I sleep in short spurts. It’s pretty intense, but I’m lucky.”

The swan’s back!
While playing at the park with parents Jessica Alba and Cash Warren, 21-month-old Honor Marie sported an adorable sleeveless tee that looked an awful lot like the swan-inspired dress Icelandic singer Björk wore to the 2001 Oscars. Talk about déjà vu!
We’re still on the fence over Björk’s fashion choice, but we’re loving Honor’s top.

Former Lost star Harold Perrineau poses with his girls — wife Brittany and daughters Wynter Aria, 22 months, and Aurora, 15 — at Sunday’s Day of Fun, held at the Santa Monica Pier in Santa Monica, Calf.
The event was hosted by the Make-A-Wish Foundation, as well as celebrity dad Kevin James and wife Steffiana. Children attending rode a roller coaster, checked out game booths staffed by celebrities, and enjoyed face painting and cotton candy.

If Emma Bunton has her way, son Beau Lee won’t be an only child for long!
The former Spice Girl tells Stylist that she and Jade Jones have babies on the brain.
“Yes, fingers crossed, I’d love to have more children. We’re getting to the right time, as Beau is starting nursery.”
As 2½-year-old Beau has gotten older, Bunton says her enthusiasm for motherhood remains unchanged.
“He’s getting a bit cheeky, and I love that,” she notes.
One thing that has changed, however, are the pop singer’s priorities.
“Everything is about Beau now,” Bunton, 34, points out. “I’m definitely at my happiest when I’m at home with my little boy and my family.”
At no time is that happiness more apparent than during extended family dinners when “there are loads of us squashed around the table,” Bunton reveals. The fact that her partner of 12 years is a trainee chef helps as well!
“Jade makes us a stew and we’re all laughing. That always feels very warm and settled.”

Though not a fan of lots of bling, Katie Holmes likes to keep her mini me — 3 ½-year-old Suri — close with Monica Rich Kosann‘s Signature Locket ($445).
