Joey Lawrence & Charli Meet the Movers!

It was a daddy-daughter day out for Joey Lawrence and 3 ½-year-old Charleston on Thursday, as they got up close and personal with the Imagination Movers during a guest appearance at Radio Disney.

The actor may have been giving wife Chandie a break! The couple just welcomed their second child, Liberty Grace, two weeks ago.

Melissa Rivers Recalls Son’s First Public Tantrum

Amanda Schwab/Startraks

She’s been a red-carpet staple alongside mom Joan Rivers, but Melissa Rivers is determined to teach her son to never take anything for granted.

“[I want to teach him to] never have a sense of entitlement,” she tells Babble.

The lesson is one she has taught Edgar Cooper, 9, since he was young — and was the cause of his first public tantrum in the airport!

“There was something he wanted in the store, something he already had,” the author of Red Carpet Ready: Secrets for Making the Most of Any Moment You’re in the Spotlight recalls.

“I [told him no,] and he threw himself down in the middle of the concourse.”

Taking the moment in stride, Rivers let the scene play out.

“I stood there, put one foot on either side of him so nobody would step on him, and people walked by, saying, ‘Oh, you too?’”

Josh Turner: Touring With Sons Offers ‘Free Entertainment’

George Holz for use on Moms & Babies

As Josh Turner heads out on tour for his latest album Haywire, there is one particular song — “I’ll Be There” — that probably won’t make the set list.

With lyrics that describe a father’s unwavering love for his children, the country crooner is the first to admit that the words “hit close to home” and strike a chord that he is not willing to explore on stage.

“It makes me think of myself as a daddy and when I’m up on that stage that’s the furthest thing from my mind because I try to separate the two,” Turner, 32, explains to The Boot.

“When I’m at home being a daddy, the last thing I’m thinking about is being an artist. It is two things that I never really put together.”

Despite the singer’s determination to keep his personal life separate from his career, with wife Jennifer on the keyboard, it’s much easier said than done!

“I wouldn’t have it any other way,” Turner says of his wife’s involvement. “Just having [her] right there on the road with me gives me a keyboard player and a background vocalist on stage and at the same time it gives me companionship.”

And with both mom and dad on stage, sons Hampton Otis, 3, and Colby Lynch, 8 months, are brought along for the ride.

“We have a nanny out on the road because we have to have somebody looking after them when we do sound check and everything else, but the boys are just free entertainment,” he kids. “It’s fun having them out there.”

Review: Chicco KeyFit Strada Booster Seat

Courtesy of Chicco

The Chicco KeyFit infant car seats have long been a mom favorite.

Now you can upgrade to the big kid size with the Chicco KeyFit Strada booster seat ($170).

What we like:

Padding, padding and more padding. The Strada’s super cushy (and much safer!) thanks to energy-absorbing EPS foam. The breathable mesh fabric — which stays cool on hot summer days — is also really soft.

This seat’s the closest thing to a perfect fit that you’ll find on the market. It features an adjustable headrest and side wings, so no easy slouching. It also converts to a backless booster for bigger kids.

We’re also loving the sleek design and chic color combos (dark grey/lt. grey and red/grey).

What we don’t like:

You can’t remove the fabric on the armrests so cleanups are difficult. It would have been nice if they were made of a smooth, wipeable surface instead. The clip-on cup holder is also a nice touch, but it’s not so sturdy. A built-in cup version would have been better.

Moms and Babies Rating:

For a safe, secure ride, it’s your best bet. Buy yours here.
