Amy Adams was all smiles as she arrived to celebrate her baby-on-the-way at a shower held in her honor Sunday in Brentwood, Calif.

Glowing in a Bailey 44 Short Sleeve Pleated Maternity Dress from A Pea in the Pod ($175), the actress partied with pals, who came bearing gifts!

Among the attendees? Adams’ Sunshine Cleaning costar Emily Blunt, Debra Messing, Rachael Leigh Cook and Emily Deschanel.

Adams, 35, and fiancé Darren Le Gallo expect their first child this spring.

i don’t think her wearing blue says anything about the sex of the baby. it’s just a cute dress! or maybe she’s throwing us off lol.

Kathleen- you can’t know that for sure, so definitly isn’t the right word to use. Judging from the majority of pink presents, it’s safe to assume that she’s carrying a girl.

Blackrose- I like the color blue and I’d wear it during pregnancy regardless of the baby’s gender. That proves nothing.

Just because she’s wearing a blue dress is no indication she’s having a boy- the same could be said if she were wearing a pink dress-that’s she’s having a girl.
don’t know when she’s due so carrying high at this point is no indication of the baby’s sex either.

I don’t think the colour of the dress has any real bearing on whether she’s having a boy or girl and didn’t she say that she wanted to find out but the baby wasn’t co-operating when they had scans?

I first thought it was a girl, then a boy. I’m so confused but now I think it is defenetely a girl. I love Amy Adams she’s totally beautiful and the greatest actress ever I don’t care about the sex of the baby, I only care about the baby being healthy and beautiful just like her.
