Erica Hill Welcomes Son Sawyer Steven

It’s a second son for Early Show anchor Erica Hill, who welcomed Sawyer Steven Yount at 6:26 a.m. Tuesday, March 23rd in New York City.

Sawyer weighed in at 8 lbs., 4 oz and joins big brother Weston Robert, 3.

“We are thrilled with the new addition to our family and so pleased he arrived at 6:26 a.m. — just in time for The Early Show,” Hill and husband David Yount said in a statement to CBS.

The couple, who wed in 2005, announced the pregnancy in Oct. Hill is currently appearing on the cover of the latest issue of American Baby with coanchor Maggie Rodriguez.

While visiting my sister in the hospital in NY a few weeks agao, I was fortunate enough to run into Erica on the street. At such a rough time for me, she certainly made my day. She was as sweet and genuine in person as she comes across on screen.

So, Erica if you come across this, I hope you remember me. =)Congratulations and best wishes from my family to yours.

I am so happy for her. Did not know where she went from CNN. Will definitely watch the early show once she is back as I have always enjoyed her reporting.

‘Ima Be?’….really? that’s the best you could come up with?
sounds like you must not like your co-worker very much.
that has to be the worst, repetitive, grating not-a-song every recorded.
I love how these groups put crap together (one phrase with a beat) and really, really dumb people buy it.

how about a nice soothing lullaby….or at least a real song.

Not crazy about Sawyer, but I like Steven and I’m thrilled for her. Congratulations David, Erica, and Weston (I adore that name) on baby Sawyer Steven Yount!

i love her on the early show, congrats to her and her family! but i’m not a fan of either of those names. they sound like appliance brands, not names for a child.
