Matt Damon’s Girls Keep Him Grounded

Despite a meteoric rise to fame with Good Will Hunting, Matt Damon believes he has managed to stay humble.
While “working consistently with great people” has been helpful to that end, becoming a father has been even more so.
“[Kids] kind of disabuse you of the notion of your greatness pretty quickly,” the actor, 39, tells PARADE.
“There’s a routine that you get into with kids that precludes you from going back to your single days. I’m probably more boring than I used to be. I go to bed earlier and I get up earlier.”
He’s also more philanthropic than ever, and “a sense of social justice” is something Matt says he hopes Alexia, 11, Isabella, 3 ½, and Gia Zavala, 18 months, will inherit from him. As for wife Luciana, Matt adds,
“She’s a very wise and a very thoughtful person. Hopefully, they’ll inherit that.”
