Author Sophie Kinsella Expecting Fourth Child

Author Madeleine Wickham, also known as Sophie Kinsella, is expecting her fourth child next month, she revealed via her Web site Monday.

“This has been an amazingly busy year for me — and it’s about to get busier!” Sophie, who pens the Shopaholic series, writes. “Next month … I’ll be having a new baby!”

And while she is looking forward to announcing the newest arrival on her site, she forewarns her fans that any future posts may be few and far between!

“Hope you understand if I then take a little time out … I’m sure I’ll be logging on here, in between those night feeds,” she jokes.

Sophie, 40, and her husband Henry Wickham reside in Hertfordshire, where he is the headmaster of a prep school for boys. The new baby will join big brothers Freddy, Hugo and Oscar.
