Amy Adams and Paula Patton didn’t let growing curves get in the way of their Oscar style!

Adams (who’s due in the spring) wore a blue silk chiffon empire waist gown by Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti, while Patton (who’s due with a boy in May) donned Carolina Herrera‘s bright orange draped shoulder dress.

Without a doubt, it’s a tie! But I must point out I LOVE that orange dress. When I think of orange, I dont see it as a dress color but it looks good! It’s a subtle orange, not the neon “I see you coming!” orange. Very nice!

I think Amy’s higher waistline better compliments her belly, so she gets my vote for Best Dressed Baby Bump. That said, I love both women and can’t to see them with their babies. I am also rooting for a girl for Amy to compliment Julian

I will admit I’m a fan of Amy’s dress….Paula’s just reminds me of that line from “Steel Magnolias”–”It’s like two pigs, fighting under a blanket!” But, my bias is based more on my preference for flowy, pretty, loose things when I’m pregnant. They are both gorgeous women.

I think Paula’s is more form flattering to her baby bump, but I like the color of Amy’s WAY more. I think the orange of Paula’s is over-the-top. If it were a different tone I would have liked it better. That said, they both look gorgeous.

LOL@ Melanie! I kinda agree! Paula’s dress color compliments her complexion very well and she is so darn gorgeous! But I just don’t like the dress it just doesn’t look like it fits well at all…I don’t think I would even like it on someone that is not preggers – not my style I guess.

On the other hand Amy’s dress is absolutely beautiful! The color, they style, the fit is just perfect! I would wear that one preggers or not in a heart beat!

I love the colour of Paula´s dress, but I think Amy looks radiant. But I´m sorry, the most stylish bump was Angelina´s in a gorgeous green Max Mara dress in Cannes 2008, when she was pregnant with the twins.

Paula’s gown is form fitting and “mommy-to-be sexy”. While Amy’s dress accentuates her hair color and skin tone wonderfully.

I think amy looks absolutely gorgrous. I’m a fan of that kind of shape even for non pregnant women though. But my all-time favourite red carpet mama was Angelina Jolie when she wore that green dress in Cannes or something (when she was expecting the twins). She looked beyond amazing.

cat that was max azia not max mara but yeah that was the best pregnacy dress along with halle berry’s blue versace at the “things we lost in the fire” in the uk premire in 07. i like both so count me out
