Spotted: Salma Hayek's Shady Lady

ISM/Stefan/Flynet

A star in the making?

Although she was sporting sunglasses like mom, Valentina Paloma Pinault removed her shades as the paparazzi snapped her photo while out and about with Salma Hayek on Wednesday in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Valentina, 2, is the first child together for the actress and husband François-Henri Pinault, who also has a son and a daughter from a previous marriage.

So, not to start anything but I wonder why everyone was up in arms when Britney Spears’ son Jayden had a pacifier at age 2 yet no one bats an eyelash when Salma Hayek’s daughter has one?? Yes, I realize Jayden had one AFTER he was 2 years old but even when he was 2, there were comments on every. single. post.

*Note* I’m not saying I agree or disagree with a 2yr. old having a paci…I just wanted to point out that it was odd that certain celebs (one in particular) are judged when their kid has one yet another celeb (less controversial…) lets their kid have one and no one comments…it’s interesting.

i dont understand why celebrities wear sunglasses at night, i tried to do it once but it did not work, LOL……Valentina is a perfect mix of her parents, she is adorable.

Valentina is a beauty. I love her with her own little sunglasses. :) I’ve wondered about sunglasses from normal people and celebs at night, how do they do it? Lol. But, I think the celebs do it to keep the cameras(that are constantly in their face) at bay. I can imagine the constant flashing lights from some of the cameras and the effect it would have on the eyes. I don’t know, thats just been my thought on it.

Salma, if you read the comments, please don’t take any “pacifier” ones to heart. Follow your parental instincts, and do what’s right for YOUR child. Valentina is a doll :)

Valentina is ½ French, ¼ Spanish and ¼ Lebanese. Nice combination actually.
