Welcome to the world, Violet Nash. Congrats to Christina & The Dream!

Love the name! Congrats! I also love how she included that the baby “has a full head of hair”. This is often a valued trait in the African American community.

Lauren on

Congratulations! I adore the name Violet.

Ashley on

Congrats to them! The name is great!

to urbanadventurertales:
I don’t know if I’d necessarily say “valued trait” (when it comes to newborns anyway)…but pretty typical. It usually isn’t that much of a surprise. Born with a full head of hair tends to be the case with alot /[if not] most AA babies.

But I guess it is kind of limiting when it comes to describing a newborn since they haven’t really come into there own, as far individual/ distinct features are concerned…so descriptions like “full head of hair” will have to do. LOL

Violer Nash, sounds like a high end desinger. Beautiful name.

Christina Milian is actually Afro-Latina, her parents are Cuban.Reading this post I’ve started create a family tree(in my head), her daughter is half sisters with dreams sons, who are half brothers with lil waynes son with nivea who is half brother to lil waynes son with Lauren London.Big happy family.

I was just wondering about her! I like the name as well. Its “normal”. I bet she is beautiful. I hope they share pics of her in the future.

@ urbanadventurertales I thought the same thing when I read that “a full head of hair” line. From my experience we will comment on a thick head of hair more than how healthy or cute the baby is :-)

I love the name. I think Violet is a beautifl name, but imo it’s a hard name to find a middle name for and Madison was just a wonderful choice!

Sam and Freya's mum on

Nice name, and middle name makes a change from Rose or Grace, LOL.

Aww Violet is such a sweet name! I dislike Madison very much though. But congrats to them, I’m sure she is beautiful!!

JM on

sam and freya’s mum, good point. whilst madison might not be everyone’s cup of tea, i agree that too many girls’ middle names are now grace or rose, it’s like the jane or louise of this generation.

I love Violet, do not like Madison or ‘last name names’ at all. It flows nicely though. What are his other kids’ names? Are they all colors? I think one is Navy right?

shirab on

I know that the dream has a daughter named Navy, but not sure what his sons are named!!!

violet madison is a beautiful name and im sure she is beautiful!!

She has always been so beautiful. I am happy for her and her husband. Cant wait to see a pic :)

Love the name Navy! (Odd as I tend towards more old-fashinoed names but it is up there with Sailor for me :) Violet Madison is very pretty together :)

I♥CBB on

Brannon-I LOVE the name Navy too! My aunt and I always run names by each other and Navy is a fav of both of ours! The son’s names haven’t been released. He has twin boys and I am curious to know their names too.

How can you marry/date/procreate with someone called “the dream”. You’d snicker every time you spoke to them.
