Zach Braff Praises New Mom Sarah Chalke

Now that Scrubs star Sarah Chalke is a first time mom to son Charlie Rhodes, her costar and onscreen husband Zach Braff says “she’s very happy” and hibernating at home with her new little baby.

“She’s doing great and she’s a great mom!” Braff told PEOPLE Tuesday night at the Lexus Darker Side of Green debate in New York City.

“Listen, I met Sarah nine years ago and she was ready to become a mom even then. She’s a very maternal, loving person so we knew the second she left the set of Scrubs … she was ready to become a mom.”

Little Charlie, 3 months, is the first child for Chalke, 33, and her fiancé, lawyer Jamie Afifi. The couple have been engaged since Dec. 2006.

Although the little one is yet to make a public appearance, Braff says the baby is just as beautiful as his mother.

“He’s a really great looking kid,” said the actor. “I have not met him in person yet but I’ve seen lots of emailed photos and he’s adorable and gorgeous.”

Benjamin Brady’s Too-Cute Tux!

Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady attended Gisele’s twin sister Patricia‘s wedding in Brazil on Saturday – and their 3-month-old son Benjamin Rein cut a dashing figure, sporting a mini tuxedo for the occasion.

Patricia, who is Gisele’s fraternal twin, married Rodrigo Pereira at the Laurentia Vineyard outside Porto Alegre.

Gisele, 29, served as maid of honor – leaving Brady, 32, in charge of the diaper bag.

This is baby Benjamin’s first trip abroad, and the first chance for most of Gisele’s family to meet him.

Tiffani Thiessen Celebrates Her Baby Shower

With only weeks left before her May due date, Tiffani Thiessen celebrated with a baby shower on Sunday afternoon at her and husband Brady Smith‘s home outside Los Angeles.

The White Collar star welcomed about 65 guests to the outdoor party, hosted by former 90210 costar Jason Priestley‘s wife Naomi.

Guests enjoyed a cake from Hansen’s Cakes and a gift bag that included goodies from baby company BabyBjörn.

Apart from stocking up on presents – among her gifts was The Hot Mom to Be Handbook by Jessica Denay – Thiessen has also finalized plans for the birth.

“I’m going to give a Girl Scout effort to hypnobirthing,” the actress, 36, tells Pregnancy magazine about the method that uses hypnosis to promote natural childbirth.

“I’m really excited about it. That’s my plan, but my husband and I are both very, very open to however the child is supposed to come out. Knock on wood it all goes well. I’m not one to judge any woman on how they choose to give birth. It’s individual and I think everyone’s different.”

Star Mom Favorite: Baby Eggi Clothing!

Angie Harmon knows a thing or two (or three!) about where to find cute clothes for little girls. Mom to daughters Finley Faith, 6, Avery Grace, 4 ½, and Emery Hope, 15 months, the star of new series Rizzoli & Isles is a big fan of kids clothing line, Baby Eggi.

Her latest picks from the brand’s spring collection include both the Ruffle dress ($34) and the Rosette tee ($30) for her stylish mini me’s.

And Harmon isn’t the only celeb fan of the line. We also recently spotted Sarah Jessica Parker‘s 9-month-old daughter, Tabitha Hodge, in the company’s Bell Sleeve jacket ($48).

One Life to Live‘s Bree Williamson Is Expecting

There is a baby-on-the-way for actress Bree Williamson!

The One Life to Live star, 30, confirmed the happy news to SoapNet on Monday and later Tweeted, “Thanks for all your well wishes!!! We are very excited!!!”

No word on a due date was given, and it is not yet known whether the pregnancy will be written into Williamson’s storyline on the long-running ABC soap.

The new arrival will also be the first child for her husband of two years, Michael Roberts.
