Rachel Griffiths 'Not Neurotic' About Body After Baby

Steve Granitz/WireImage

For Brothers & Sisters star Rachel Griffiths, there is no closely guarded secret when it comes to losing the baby weight. “I think it’s just three kids and working full time,” the 41-year-old actress recently mused to Us Weekly. “Honestly, I haven’t thought about it.”

If there was a motivating force behind her slimdown, however, Rachel hinted that the honor rests with none other than Gilles Marini. Upon learning she would need to film a love scene with the Dancing With the Stars finalist, Rachel said she was forced to take stock!

“I think I looked in the mirror at that moment and said, ‘Oh wow! Maybe I should start working out,’” she admits.

“I said, ‘I’m going to call PETA because it must be cruelty to animals to have a woman who just had a baby six months ago to have to do a bed scene with Gilles.’ It’s ridiculous!”

At the same time, Rachel said she isn’t the type to go overboard when it comes to diet and exercise. To that end, she noted,

“I tend to not get neurotic about it so I can meet my family’s needs and my baby’s needs. But, I am starting to feel like I want to get a little stronger and fitter.”

From the sound of things, Rachel isn’t the only member of the family taking an interest in physical fitness! Of new baby Clementine Grace, 7 months, Rachel said,

“She’s great. She’s not crawling yet, but she appeared to be doing downward dog yesterday, which I was pretty impressed with.”

In addition to Clementine, Rachel is mom to Banjo Patrick, 6, and Adelaide Rose, 4 ½. All three are her children with husband Andrew Taylor.

Tyrese: Keep Divorce Drama Away From Kids

Rafael Guimaraes/Ramey

When Tyrese Gibson agreed to take on the role of Kyle Williams — a divorced father who finds himself in the middle of a custody battle — in his latest movie Legion, he did so without knowing how closely the storyline would mirror his own life only months later.

“It’s almost like this film predicted that I was gonna go through that. I actually went through it in the movie before I went through it in real life,” he tells Celebrity Baby Blog exclusively while attending the film’s premiere in Hollywood recently.

Hesitant to divulge details surrounding his relationship with ex-wife Norma Gibson — with whom the actor welcomed daughter Shayla Somer, 2 ½ — Tyrese is far less guarded when it comes to insisting fathers step up to the plate.

“At the end of the day, this is what I would say to all fathers: Don’t allow the conflicts between [you and] the mother of your child … to get in the way of your responsibility as a father.”

Urging fellow dads to “be a man” and “be a father,” the 31-year-old says there are no regrets when it comes to his relationship with Norma. “Your responsibility when you coexist and create a child is to be a father — period — because that child is affected by your irresponsibilities if you decide to be irresponsible,” he explains.

Adding that he adores Shayla, Tyrese admits his feelings for Norma run much deeper as a result.

“I still love the mother of my child and that will never change.”

Legion is now in theaters.

Gisele Bündchen: Benjamin Is 'A Little Angel'

Bauer-Griffin

Gisele Bündchen may not be getting much sleep since giving birth to her first child, Benjamin, with husband Tom Brady in December — but she doesn’t mind.

“In these first months, the baby breastfeeds twice in two hours or three times in three hours. It is really tiring, but it’s such a special moment that I am enjoying to the maximum,” the supermodel, 29, says in a new interview with Brazil’s Folha de Sao Paulo newspaper. “I have dedicated my days completely to him.”

Gisele, who calls her 8-week-old son “a little angel,” says she’s been changed by becoming a parent. “To be a mother is a magical experience. The whole body is transformed by this,” she says. “It really is the miracle of life. I am really happy!”

She’s already gone back to work, posing for a photoshoot for the Brazilian label Colcci just six weeks after giving birth, but she’s not using a nanny, instead relying on her family to help her.

“My mother [Vania] accompanied me since before Benjamin’s birth,” she says. “She gave me great support. I couldn’t ask God for more support than this.”

The supermodel also reveals that she didn’t take her pregnancy as an excuse to indulge in junk food. “I kept myself in good shape during the whole pregnancy, eating healthily, meditating, and doing exercises,” says Gisele, who did yoga and kung-fu until November. “I put on a little weight, but kept using almost the same clothes, with small adjustments on the stomach.”

Of course keeping fit since the baby arrived has been a challenge. “I still haven’t had time to go back to doing exercise. In the first few months, everything turns around the baby. But little by little you recover your form,” she says. “What helps me is the fact that I didn’t put much weight on, and that I had a natural birth and am breastfeeding.”

Freddie Prinze Jr.: Diaper Changing Champion

Claire Greenway/Getty

He may be racing against the clock as Cole Ortiz on this season of 24, but during a visit to Rachael Ray, actor Freddie Prinze Jr. reveals that the timer doesn’t stop once he leaves the set.

First-time father to daughter Charlotte Grace, 4 months, Freddie is officially on diaper duty, and boasts he can “change a diaper with the best of them.” Noting that men have to keep things competitive — even on the changing table! — the actor claims his best time to date is less than 40 seconds.

“Guys know, we time it!” he laughs.

“We’re like, ‘Oh, you want us to do it? How fast do you do it in?’ Girls are like, ‘Uhh, I don’t know.’ Guys are like, ‘Forty-six seconds!’”

And while wife Sarah Michelle may not share Freddie’s excitement over his personal record, both are completely smitten with baby girl. “We’ve been really lucky,” the proud papa, 33, raves. “She’s a sleepy baby. She sleeps, she eats, she laughs — she’s great!”

24 airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on FOX.

Camila Alves Dishes On Her '40-Day Break' Rule

Debbie VanStory/iPhoto

While some of her peers have made waves returning to pre-baby form in record time, Camila Alves says she’s happy to be the exception to the trend. In Brazil, the Shear Genius host tells Style List, there is a tradition of allowing for downtime after giving birth.

“We call [it the] 40-day break after the baby,” Camila — who welcomed daughter Vida on Jan. 3 — explains. “You have to let your body do its own thing; You give it time to recover and let everything settle down.”

In so doing, women are able to “respect all the hard work” their bodies have done, she notes.

“For these 40 days you really take it easy. By that I mean no sex, light, healthy food, no trips to the gym. Then, after 40 days, you are good to go.”

However, Camila — who stepped out for her 27th birthday last week — goes on to confess that she’s “getting a little anxious to work out.”

“I miss it. Not just to get my body back in shape, but for me, for my head!”

In her new job, hair will take center stage and Camila says that her own locks are in a state of flux with Vida’s arrival. Like many women, Camila says she’s experienced some hair loss since becoming a mom.

“The texture has definitely changed,” she concedes. “I am lucky it is thick because I am losing it more too. It is spooky isn’t it?”

In addition to Vida, Camila is mom to 18-month-old Levi with partner Matthew McConaughey. Season three of Shear Genius premieres Wednesday night on Bravo.
