Brendan Fraser Says Children Are 'The Best Actors'

INF

In a recent appearance on The Rachael Ray Show, actor Brendan Fraser revealed that his three sons are “vastly, vastly different.”

Son Griffin Arthur, 7, “has red hair” and “[is] enormous,” Brendan, 41, reports, while son Holden Fletcher, 5, “is brunette and is running for mayor.” Youngest boy Leland Francis, 3 ½, “is a professional fire plug,” according to dad.

“He goes through brushes and briers and comes out on the other side scratched and smiling. It’s all good!”

When asked if any of the boys appear to be destined for a career in Hollywood, Brendan opined that “all children are actors, and I think they are the best actors.”

“They’re like little Greek tragedians. They’re so pure. ‘No, I will not go to bed! No!’ ‘I love you so much!’ ‘I hate you!’ It’s rage, fear, lust, joy. That’s what they teach in actor’s school, and all kids do is that.”

Whether or not Griffin, Holden and Leland will use Brendan’s career for inspiration remains to be seen, however. “I think they’ve seen George of the Jungle,” he joked. “I know that. To tell you the truth, the first time they saw George of the Jungle they walked out!”

The boys are Brendan’s children with ex-wife Afton Smith. His new film Extraordinary Measures is in theaters now.

Julianne Moore Celebrates Her 'Regular and Orderly' Life

Amy Sussman/Getty

Julianne Moore has made a career out of playing tragically flawed women on screen, from an incestuous mother in Savage Grace to a wife consumed by jealousy and suspicion in the upcoming film Chloe.

Off screen,  however, she revels in her drama-free life with son Caleb, 12, daughter Liv Helen, 7 ½, and husband Bart Freundlich. “My daughter has her ballet class, my son has his basketball, my husband is writing and playing golf and I act and like to decorate the house,” she notes in a new interview.

The stability she describes is no accident! Julianne, 49, adds,

“As [Gustave] Flaubert says: ‘Be regular and orderly in your life, so that you may be violent and original in your work.’ For me, that’s kind of how it is. I have a very, very normal life, I really do.”

Julianne’s latest movie, A Single Man, is in select theaters now.

Jessica Alba Dishes On Her 'Big Amateur' Mom Move

Splash News Online

A Christmas vacation proved eye-opening indeed for Jessica Alba, and in more ways than one! The actress revealed during a Monday visit to The Jay Leno Show that she traveled to Mexico with husband Cash Warren, daughter Honor Marie, 19 months, and a friend who also has small children.

“Now that you have kids it’s different going on vacation,” she noted, adding,

“You know, single people aren’t really trying to wake up early in the morning. They don’t understand a meltdown, and a poopie diaper grosses them out. This is part of our day to day!”

The trip got tricky when Jessica “pulled the big amateur move” of forgetting to pack Honor any toys.

“I’m trying to be a very prepared mom,” she explained, “and you have to pack 10,000 more bags when you have a kid.”

The omission was valuable in at least one respect, however; It offered the first-time parents a glimpse at their daughter’s budding personality, and Jessica, 28, said they didn’t like everything they saw! She elaborated,

“We realized on this trip that my daughter is a bully. She would steal her girlfriend’s toys and push her and pull her hair for a stroller or a baby doll or a purse.”

Jessica’s new movie Valentine’s Day is in theaters Feb. 12th.

It’s a boy for Brothers & Sisters star Sarah Jane Morris and her husband Ned Brower.

Emmett Andrew Brower arrived on Sunday, Jan. 24, Morris’ rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.

New dad Ned, drummer for the band Rooney, is clearly proud of his actress wife, writing on his Facebook:

“S.O.N. (Son of Ned) hath arrived. Emmett Andrew Brower weighs in at 8.2 lbs. Sarah labored for 15 hours w/ NO meds … she is a total powerhouse and my hero.”

The couple, who were college sweethearts and wed in Feb. 2005, announced the pregnancy in Aug. In Oct., Sarah Jane shared that they were expecting a boy and expressed her desire for a natural childbirth.

“I’m excited, curious, and terrified about doing it, but something in my gut is telling me that it’s an experience I don’t want to miss out on — even though I know it is going to be painful and hard,” Sarah Jane, 32, explained. “It is called ‘labor’ after all! But I look at it as a privilege we have as women, and I think that it will only make me stronger as a person.”
