Spotted: Kate Beckinsale and Lily Fall into the Gap!

Even though Lily Sheen — or actress Kate Beckinsale for that matter — weren’t around when Gap launched its first denim collection, the gorgeous duo made sure to come out to celebrate the opening of the new 1969 Premium Jeans shop in West Hollywood on Wednesday.

Along with celebs like Rebecca Romijn, Jerry O’Connell, Debra Messing and Sarah Michelle Gellar, the 10 ½-year-old and her mom browsed the Robertson Boulevard boutique’s chic, retro-inspired denim-on-denim looks including a cropped moto jacket ($69.50) over a western-style chambray shirt ($59.50).

Unfortunately, the store doesn’t carry kids or toddler denim yet, but they do stock the full 1969 babyGap collection.

I remember way back when that Kate said that “no one takes care of Lily who doesn’t love her” and I think that’s reflected in the photos we see. They are obviously so close and I know her and Michael Sheen are on good terms as well.
