Camila Alves: Matthew Is a Hit With All Women

In a humorous appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, a humbled Camila Alves revealed that partner Matthew McConaughey‘s appeal even transcends sexual preference!
While on a recent trip to Austin, the couple — parents to son Levi, 18 months, and daughter Vida, 7 weeks — enjoyed a rare night away from the kids.
“[Shear Genius] came out, [and] it had good numbers so I said, ‘Let’s go out to celebrate,’” Camila recalls. “I pumped milk, left the bottle for my mom, left the food out, babies are set … let’s go party, right?”
As their evening was winding down, Matthew and Camila heard good music coming from afar and decided to check it out — but the couple had inadvertently stumbled into a lesbian bar. Relieved, the 27-year-old thought she finally had a moment to shine.
“I’m like, ‘Yes, victory!’ because everywhere we go, everyone loves Matthew … but we’re in a lesbian bar, now it’s my turn,” she explains. Her hopes were quickly dashed, however!
“That didn’t happen. He was turning lesbian women into straight women.”
No slouch in the looks department herself, Camila conceded that her svelte postpartum physique is “a little bit of” genetics.
When asked whether Matthew has attempted to learn her native language of Portuguese, Camila joked that her partner is “not good at it at all” and that he’s even been upstaged by his son!
“Levi is actually better at Portuguese than [Matthew] is.”
