Angela Kinsey On Savoring 'All the Little Moments' With Isabel

Landov

There is no such thing as a quick walk with a toddler, but Angela Kinsey says she enjoys every moment of her walks with Isabel Ruby, 21 months. “It is an adventure,” the actress insists in a new interview. “We ooh and aah over ants and leaves and flowers.”

Mother and daughter went on a particularly special jaunt at Christmas, while visiting Angela’s relatives in Texas. She shares,

“We went for a walk with my Dad on his farm. We saw little kittens in the barn and snow and birds. These moments may seem like nothing fancy or interesting but they are my favorite. Just exploring outside with my daughter.”

Listing Gap Kids, Target and The Children’s Place as her favorite spots for tot clothes, Angela says that the key to balancing Isabel’s needs with a busy career is “accepting help from friends and family.”

When it’s just the two of them, Angela says she tries to savor “all the little moments” while keeping in mind that “life is fun” and not something to be taken for granted. When asked what things she hopes Isabel will remember most, Angela, 38, says,

“Pretending to be a bunny and hopping around, playing hide and seek, making cookies on a rainy afternoon … stuff like that.”

Isabel is Angela’s only child with estranged husband Warren Lieberstein.

Oooo, those are the best moments with a toddler!

she seems like a great and dedicated mom! and i love how down to earth she is, especially where she buys isabel’s clothes. no $300 dresses and ridiculously priced shoes for that toddler, it’s refreshing!

“Mother and daughter went on a particularly special jaunt at Christmas, while visiting Angela’s relatives in Texas.” This makes me feel horrible for Warren. How awful to not get to see your child at Christmas!

She was actually on the same Christmas Eve flight to TX as I was. She sat in coach, played with her baby the entire time leading up to the flight, talked to all the people around her… utterly refreshingly normal!

I seriously want to be Angela’s best friend. She just seems like the sweetest woman!

CelebBabyLover – just taking a guess, but with a name like Lieberstein, I’m thinking he’s probably Jewish.

Molly- You may be right. In any case, I do hope that Isabel gets to see her father from time to time (if it’s in her best interest, of course!)….and I’m sure she does. :)
