The Jolie-Pitts Support the Saints!

Waving hello to photographers, Brad Pitt and son Maddox Chivan, 8 ½, caught a ride to their skybox at Super Bowl XLIV, held Sunday evening at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla.

The Jolie-Pitt family’s favorite team, the New Orleans Saints, beat the Indianapolis Colts 31-17.

Awwwh Cute pics especially the last one when they are all doing the same exact thing. LOL

- Melanie F. on

ummm, where do i sign up to be adopted by them?

- lover on

The last one is priceless. Thats how we felt here at our house when the boys won. I love the expressions on their faces. :) I bet you its when the fabulous interception happened. :) Love that family.

- Michelle on

The last picture is priceless! I love how they give Maddox one on one time even though he is one of six! They always seem to do such exciting things, go to the superbowl, broadway shows, etc. Maddox is adorable and my guess is he is big into football. He’s the oldest child which is why i’m guessing they took only him, because he actually knows whats going on and enjoys it. I would love to see a new picture of Viv and Knox!

- Lisa on

They look to be having a blast! So happy for New Orleans.

- Liliana on

Lol. That last picture is AWESOME!

- {JeLisa} @ Blogging Ever After on

I adore that last one. Brad and Maddox obviously adore the Saints. I love that Mad is so excited…..

- Brooke on

I bet that last picture was taken when that interception happened. I’m English and although I do not, for the life of me, get the rules of American Football, I knew something pretty special had happened and I was almost off my seat like Brad, lol.

I really adore this family. Brad and Angelina really are all about their kids and it’s great that they are still able to make one-on-one time for them. It’s essential, especially when you’re one of a large number of siblings. It’s tripping me out to see how big Maddox is getting. It wasn’t so long ago he was 2/3 and still tiny, nestled in his Momma’s arms. He’s a lot bigger now but judging by some of the pictures I saw of them at the Superbowl, he’s still a Momma’s boy. Sweet.

- Amanda on

What a sweet family pic! I wonder if the other kids were there? I love how Angelina gets into the game too- I only watch the superbowl for the commercials! They are really a inspirational couple I love them

- Pinkdancer on

The last photo is priceless … must have been taken after the interception.

- Something About Baby on

I think it’s great that Maddox seems to get so much time with his parents, but what about the others? Pax has been spotted @ football games in the past, why not bring him to the Superbowl as well? It just seems like Maddox is the child who gets the lion’s share of brangelina’s time.

- Mary-Helen on

“It just seems like Maddox is the child who gets the lion’s share of brangelina’s time.”

With all due respect, you can’t possibly know how Brad and Angelina divide the time they spend with their children and it’s pretty unfair to imply (because that’s what you are doing) that Maddox is somehow the favourite. We were only privy to these moments because it was a televised event that millions were watching. Just imagine all the times Brad and Angelina have been out with their children that have escaped undocumented. All the hours they spend with them at their home. We think a few photos means we know everything about a family when really, we know nothing at all.

- Amanda on

Mary-Helen, you’re looking at their lives as an outsider. Why are you over-analyzing paparazzi photos?

- Allie on

Mary-Helen, maybe Maddox does get most of the attention, but isn’t that what it’s like in most families (the oldest gets the most attention)?

- Alee on

Isn’t the rumor that Pax has been REALLY hard work? I noticed they have not adopted since getting Pax…I wonder if a 3 yr old (not a baby) with potentially quite a few issues threw them a bit. Just supposition/conjecture, I personally have no idea.

- moose on

haha I love Maddox’s face in the last one!

- JMO on

We see them on outings with all the kids all the time. I personally love that they make special time for one on one. Assuming it is because Pax is a problem – terrible! We see Pax all the time! Odds are good they have yet to adopt again because they have 6 children under 8! They look like they are having a great time! (Maddox is going to be so handsome – hard to stand out with those parents but he always does! Each of their children really seems to stand on their own personalities – love it!)

- brannon on

Moose, if Pax was so much of a problem, why did they get pregnant again AFTER they adopted him and have twins?

- Judy on

Um…Moose you know that thing about Pax is from tabloids right?

I am sick of people believing everything they read from “sources”,!
I have never seen a photo of their children having a tantrum.

And I really don’t think a loud, crowded football game is the place for infants not even two yet! People are so ridiculous.

You do know that celebrities continue to exist even when not photographed.

- ....... on

Why do some , like Mary-Helen, turn any picture of the Jolie-Pitts into a “They don’t love the others as much, etc, etc.’ game. We don’t see every moment of their lives. Moose, I do have to ask you seem to hate everything celebrity parents do but still come back. Why?

- Lee on

also mary helen have you considered – maddox may be at the age where he is beginning to be able to deal with the paparazzi presence more than his younger siblings?!

- mazzie on

why are some people saying that “oh brad and angie love mad more than shi, zahara, pax or the twins” or “oh pax is the trouble-maker and they don’t like to bring him to events”. why can’t we just say that we love the fact that they seem like normal people. besides the have 6 kids and it’s nice to see them take time with each kid. i love this family and who knew angie’s a saints fan or even likes football?

- maggie on

#8- Amanda- lol I live in America and have no idea how the game works either :) I just can’t understand it. But it is still fun to hear who wins.

- Erika on

cute pictures! Angelina looks so happy and beautiful.

- Jane on

aaw, precious pic of Maddox! Moose- I do remember hearing Brad say that Pax was in time-out and peed on the time-out chair! He’s all boy! Also, there was a story that Shiloh lost her tooth from playing football with the boys and Pax, accidently, knocked her front tooth out.Angelina has said he’s the loudest. lol. He’s just an active cute little boy! I bet 6 kids all together out would be very hard!

- g!na on

They are my favorite celebrity family.

- Melanie on

How nice they’re doing a normal family event. Glad to see Brangelina out and about together, it stops those stupid rumors about thier so called split. ;)

- robinepowell on

I like that last pic as well. Very “normal” looking :-)

I don’t know about you guys but I see pics of each or both of them with a different kid every week :-)

I think for having 6 children under 10 they divide their time and attention pretty good. I know parents with 1 or 2 kids that give them less one on one time.

Besides like one poster said we are on the outside looking in.

- RIP Michael on

Aw, cute pics. I love the last one too. You can feel the intense energy. Brad Pitt looks so excited HAHA. Good for New Orleans :)

- Mia on

MARY-HELEN i think just becoz these pictures are pretty perfet you just want to say something negative about them, a lot of times we have seen brad with PAX, and angie with shiloh and zahara, to be honest this is the first pic of MAD with his parents in a long time….i’m not even a fan of these two but even I can see that they are good parents, who spend one on one time with each of their children.

- True on

Love the last pic! It´s AWESOME! The expressions on their faces are PRICELESS!

- Anonymous on

mazzie- Very good point!

g!na- I agree completely! I, too, think Pax is just a very active, energetic little boy. :)

As far as Maddox being the only Jolie-Pitt child at the super bowl and the fact that we have seen Angie and Brad doing other special one-on-one activities with him (such as attending the premire of Invictus back in December)….I think it’s mostly due to the fact that he has simply become old enough to do those things.

When you think about it, we really didn’t see him on solo outings with one or both of his parents that much when he was Pax’s age. I’m sure as Pax and the other kids get older, we’ll start seeing them on outings like this, too.

That being said, I hope we get to see the twins again soon (I’m hoping we’ll get a glimpse of them when the J-Ps travel to Italy later this month for Angie to film The Tourist!)! Speaking of which, I’d like to say that I am very glad that there are no “Where are the twins?” or “Don’t they spend time with the twins?” comments on photos of all four of the older J-P kids out and about. I can’t tell you how relieved I am that this hasn’t become “Where’s Shiloh?” 2.0.! :)

- CelebBabyLover on

Something to remember is that Maddox is at an age where it’s much easier to take him to events such as the Superbowl than his younger siblings. I have 3 kids, ages 6,3 and 1/2, and I personally wouldn’t take any of them to an event like that. It’s noisy, crowded, confusing, and would probably freak them out a little. Add to that the paparrazzi that follow Brad and Angelina and the kids around, and it’s no wonder only Maddox went!

Also, I’m sure all of the kids are getting equal one on one time, we just maybe see more of Maddox because again, he’s older. His one on one time is more fun for him if he goes somewhere. His younger siblings are probably still plenty happy to hang out at home or somewhere more private than he is. Just based on what my 8 year old godson thinks, hanging at home with the folks is not all that fun. Also, he’s easier to take out than say, a 3 year old. So I can see why we see more of him, but that doesn’t mean the other kids aren’t getting the same amount of attention.

- Shannon on

Oh and I forgot to mention- how stinkin cute is Maddox’s expression in this picture! He is a very handsome young man, I can already see him following in his folks’ footsteps. And if he does, I can already see my girls plastering pics and posters of him all over thier walls! LOL They all look like they’re having such a good time. I don’t understand the rules in football, but it sure is exciting to watch. Is it just me, or does Brad look like he trimmed the beard a little bit?

- Shannon on

Aww this is so cute!! i wish they would adopt me!!

- molly on

Has anyone stopped to consider that Maddox is a little older than Pax so he could handle staying up a little later? I know that at eight I would have been fine staying up just a little later, but my brother at eight needed to go to bed the exact same time, every night. Just something to consider. I love that they spend time with all their kids and it’s cute how the last picture has them all making the same face.

- Luna on

What a gorgeous family, I hate hearing all these terrible rumors about them must be difficult living through that. Glad their still together & clearly look in love!

- Lola on

Brad has turned into the Dude! Has anybody seen The Big Lebowski? LOL!

- Julie on

I was so Happy to see them there together. I just love Brad and Angie and Maddox.

- stacie on

I would imagine that they only took Maddox for a number of reasons. He is probably the only one of the kids old enough and patient enough to sit through hours of football and understand it to an extent. Maybe he loves the sport itself. My son started playing tackle football at 8. Maybe Maddox is a young football player and loves the game. I love all the pictures and this family. I think they are great parents to all 6 of there kids.

- Renee on

I haver never seen Pax at a football game only Maddox. Maybe Pax doesn’t even like football. As for Shiloh that football/ missing tooth story was from a tabloid and all the tabloids had different versions so I don’t believe it unless Brad or Angie confirms it . I have never heard anyone comment why Sharon Stone is often alone w/ Roan(her oldest) or Heidi is sometimes alone w/ Leni. I find that very interesting. OT I’m glad they decided to sue NOTW that story was on CNN, The Today Show,The Early Show…It’s amazing how reputable news agencies would quote the trashiest British tabloid

- Kim on

All the photos are great, but that last one where all of them went crazy over the Saints pulling off yet another good move in the game, or it might’ve been after they took the whole game home after being down 0-10, is just too precious! Go, Saints! :)

But, I can’t help but say Brad really got into it, and he’s just so hilariously cute. :D

- FC on

Driving to NOLA now for the Saints Parade!!! cannot Wait – Who Dat nation will be in rare form!!!

- HARPER on

who knows what they think? even if they hated each others guts they would at least play happy families in front of the cameras.

- katie on

Shannon- Thank you! You just said exactly what I was trying to say earlier! :)

- CelebBabyLover on

They look like they are having a blast! I wish my family could hang out with them. Love them!

- Akira on

Different kids like different things. My sister liked clothes shopping, I liked bookstores, my niece loves an afternoon in baking and watching Jane Austen adaptations, my nephew just wants me to take him swimming and have free-diving competitions. Any adult who did your favourite thing with you was awesome.

Totally possible that Pax doesn’t like watching sports, and so he and his parents do something else. It’s more important that each child feel like their preferences are known and they get equal time, rather than each kid getting exactly the same treat.
