Although they are famous for careers in acting and fashion design, respectively, Liv Tyler says that she and pal Stella McCartney are just like any other moms when it comes to girl talk.

In the March issue of ELLE UK, Liv, 32, reveals,

“Once our kids are asleep, it’s ‘grab the wine’ and talk turns to boys and husbands.”

Mom to 5-year-old Milo William, Liv says that her son is responsible for her svelte form — indirectly, at least! “Jumping on a bouncy castle has got to be the best exercise,” she notes.

Milo has also proven to be the motivating force behind his full-time city dweller mom’s contemplation of a quieter life in the countryside. Explains Liv,

“Before I die I want to live on a farm with chickens, a vegetable garden and a John Deere tractor.”

Milo is Liv’s only child with ex-husband Royston Langdon.

I totally get the bouncy castle thing! Being inside those things for my nephew’s birthday parties are the biggest workout I’d had in a long time!

Jen on

So… why doesn’t she just start that farm?!

Rach on

Jen, maybe she means when she is much older..I dunno, she could do that now, but maybe it is because of her career that keeps her in the city. Country life is pretty, but I am actually one of the rare people that it terrifies. To think, the nearest neighbours and hospitals are so far away most of the time, the premise of most scary movies lol ~

Cape Town Mum on

LOL Rach. Glad I’m not the only crazy one. That happens to be my exact reason for never even considering living in the country.

NW Mamma on

Rach and Cape Town ….
That is too funny, I am terrified of living in a big city. I prefer the serenity of having no neighbors near by, no traffic constantly, and to go outside and actually hear the flapping of birds wings as they fly by, you couldn’t pay me enough to live in a city. Of course living in the WA in the great NW, the greenery everywhere and the clean fresh air makes it all worth while. Kids actually go outside and don’t want to come in because there is so much for them to do outdoors where we are. Healthy Safe Fun!

Mom Said It

"We weren't trying to have kids. We left it up to fate. I knew there was a possibility, but I was really excited. Even if you are trying, just to see a positive result is shocking!"
