I don’t understand how parents can let their 9-year-old daughters go through a pregnancy…

I am completely baffled at the percent of abortions that is on school aged children… THIRTY PERCENT of all of their abortions are on CHILDREN!!!!!! I’m disgusted. This really is “babies having babies”

Allie-Rose- maybe the parents didn’t know until it was too far along. She may have tried to hide it, and nobody would think their nine year old might be pregnant.

As for the 30% of abortions on school aged children, does that include high schoolers or not? I don’t know what ages they consider ‘school aged’ in China. Either way, it is terrible. I never would have guessed that teen (child) pregnancy was such an issue there, but I guess it is. I feel sorry for that poor little girl.

I’m not surprised that a lot of abortions are on school aged children. When you’re an adult you are less likely to need an abortion (because you can keep the child I mean). Especially if they include teenagers in “school age”. I agree that if it’s only little children it’s very disturbing.

the story about the 2 sisters with cancer is really sad. Both of my mother’s aunts died of cancer and her cousin too( she was one of the aunts daughter)
