Mini Must-Have: Johan Samuel’s Snazzy Snow Gear!

GSI Media

During the holidays, the Klum-Samuels hit the slopes of Aspen for a little family fun. We spotted Seal and baby Lou on a walk and Leni and Heidi ice skating.

Johan, 3, was also on hand for some skating lessons and he was bundled up in the coolest cold-weather outfit.

Like his older sister, he rocked one of Burton‘s stylish snowsuits ($170) and a CrazeeHeads helmet cover ($32) in the Kleo the Tiger design.

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz: Broadway Is a Blast For Working Moms

Although fans may have mourned the exit of Ashlee Simpson-Wentz‘s character Violet on Melrose Place, the closing of that door opened up many others for the singer/actress.

Now on Broadway reprising her role as Roxie Hart in the musical Chicago, Ashlee reveals during a recent visit to the Today show that relocating to New York City with her husband Pete and their son Bronx Mowgli, 13 months, has been nothing short of a blessing.

“It’s fun, we’re getting to have family time in the city here which is nice,” she explains.

And while her responsibilities as a mother are made easier by her schedule which — other than two shows on Sundays — includes days off and performances at night, Ashlee credits Pete with helping her each step of the way.

“We have a really good balance — my husband and I do — so we just support each other with whatever it is that we’re working on,” she explains.

That said, so far it has been smooth sailing with their “really calm” baby boy!

“He’s got his own sense of humor. He thinks everything is funny, that’s his new thing. Anyone can be laughing [and] he starts to laugh and then he has a contest with you.”

Jennifer Lopez Explains Stance on Fertility Treatments

Courtesy ELLE

Instead of slowing down since becoming a mom to 22-month-old twins Maximilian David and Emme Maribel, Jennifer Lopez says she’s motivated to do more.

“This is what I do — what, because I have kids and a husband now I’m not supposed to be me?” she asks in the February issue of ELLE. “I’m a more heightened me if anything.”

Calling herself “hyper J. Lo.,” the 40-year-old singer/actress says that “everything I wanted before, I want twice as much now.” She is quick to clarify, however, that she’s not referring to “material things.”

“It means to explore more, to think more. Being an artist doesn’t start because you’re 21, and it doesn’t end because you’re 51. You are who you are until the day you die.”

Accepting who she is — and her limitations — was key to Jennifer’s decision to forgo in-vitro fertilization. “When it comes to family and relationships, I’m quite traditional,” she explains. “Just because of the way I was raised.”

Citing her faith in God, Jennifer adds,

“I just felt like you don’t mess with things like that. And I guess deep down I really felt like either this is not going to happen for me or it is. You know what I mean? And if it is, it will. And if it’s not, it’s not going to.”

Max and Emme are Jennifer’s children with husband Marc Anthony.

Jenna Elfman Shares Story's Sleeping Schedule Secrets

Ray Tamarra/Getty

She may already be a mom to 2-year-old Story Elias, but Jenna Elfman‘s second pregnancy has brought about its fair share of surprises.

Not only has she experienced a sudden baby belly growth spurt, but the expectant mama — due with a boy in March — is suffering from sheer exhaustion this time around.

“The first pregnancy I was developing, I wasn’t going to work every day and I wasn’t chasing a 2-year-old,” she tells David Letterman during a Monday night visit to the Late Show (pictured at left after the taping).

“I napped, I was well-rested, but this one is quite different because I’m working every day, I’m promoting the show, [and] raising a 2-year-old.”

That said, while she may be feeling the effects of having two children in two years, Jenna is looking forward to the day she can sit on the sidelines during play time.

“I’m hoping that they entertain each other because right now it’s Mama!” she laughs.

Fortunately, Story has been giving Jenna a well-deserved break; The toddler received a “massive” Thomas the Train set for Christmas and is understandably thrilled. And while the Accidentally on Purpose actress admits the new toy is meant in part to keep Story occupied, Jenna confesses her gift was also intended as a bit of bribery!

“I’m trying to get him to sleep through the night, so I promised him, ‘If you sleep through the night, you get a choo-choo’ and he’s been doing it!” she confesses.

“I have a whole collection of choo-choos prewrapped and they’re ready to go. Manipulation, but it’s okay!”

Reiterating that Story is very excited about the impending arrival — placing his hands on Jenna’s belly and offering plenty of kisses — the soon-to-be mother-of-two is already anticipating a different tune once her new son arrives.

“The second the baby comes and I’m like attending to the kid [Story's] going to be like, ‘RAWR!’”

Story and baby-on-the-way are Jenna’s children with husband Bodhi.

Heidi Klum Launches Collections for A Pea in a Pod and Motherhood Maternity

There’s no stopping supermodel mama Heidi Klum! Just three months after welcoming her fourth child, daughter Lou Sulola, the Project Runway host announces plans to launch two maternity lines next month.

Lavish by Heidi Klum and Loved by Heidi Klum will debut online and in stores Feb. 12 for A Pea in the Pod and Motherhood Maternity, respectively. (Heidi follows in the footsteps of Nicole Richie, who debuted her own line for A Pea in the Pod in August.)

In keeping with Heidi’s own sexy maternity style, Lavish includes 15 pieces of “iconic style and seamless fit.” One highlight? A slinky black maxidress ($128, left) worthy of a red carpet arrival!

Loved will offer 14 affordable items made for comfort. Pieces include a loose-fitting floral print top ($39.98, below left) and blue button-down tunic ($29.98, below right).

Heidi brings a heck of a lot of sartorial expertise (including a combined three years of pregnancies!) to her lines. “I experienced fashion challenges during my four pregnancies and combined my knowledge of what works in terms of style, comfort and practicality to create these lines,” Heidi said today in a statement.

“Being pregnant shouldn’t stop you from being fashionable and feeling great about your changing body. It’s an exciting journey.” We can’t wait to see more!

Christina Aguilera: Max 'Motivates Me to Play and Have Fun'

Courtesy Marie Claire

Having recently begun shooting for her first feature film — Burlesque, costarring Cher — and recently wrapped her fourth studio album, Bionic, Christina Aguilera packs a lot into a day.

The 29-year-old songstress tells the February issue of Marie Claire, however, that no matter how busy her career keeps her that day begins and ends with son Max Liron, turning 2 next week.

“It’s really important that I’m the first thing he sees when he wakes up in the morning and the last thing he sees before bed.”

Max’s influence is apparent in Christina’s music, which she admits has changed since becoming a mom. “I had a really hard time being light before,” she notes. “I’d get a little weird about it being too cliché.”

While her first record featured pop music, at the urging of producers, her second and third albums were more dark and carried “some sort of relation to my past,” she explains. With Bionic, however, Christina says she is “just about the future.” She adds,

“[It's about] my son in my life, motivating me to want to play and have fun.”

Max is Christina’s first child with husband Jordan Bratman.
