Amy Adams Dresses Up Her Baby Bump in Carolina Herrera

While she may not be able to buy Heidi Klum‘s maternity designs yet, it isn’t stopping Amy Adams from looking fabulous during her pregnancy, thanks to designer Carolina Herrera!

InStyle.com reports that the designer is reworking pieces from her current collections to create a custom-made wardrobe for the lucky mom-to-be. The Leap Year star tells InStyle.com, ”They made my clothes for the entire press tour. They’re amazing. They did such a great job.” And the actress is wasting no time debuting her new sophisticated maternity pieces.

On Jan. 4, Amy wore an aqua wool crepe dress for an appearance on Good Morning America. One day later, she stylishly stepped out in a gray mélange belted coat with red satin trim paired with silk mulberry dress for a taping of The Late Show with David Letterman. Last night, she looked ravishing in a ‘lava red’ silk georgette dress at the movie’s premiere. What a fashionable baby bump!

Tell us: What do you think of Amy’s red carpet maternity style?

Jean Smart Announces Adoption of Daughter Bonnie

Dr. Billy Ingram/WireImage

In a Wednesday appearance on The Bonnie Hunt Show, Jean Smart revealed that her family grew by one in 2009, with the adoption of daughter Bonnie, now 18 months, from China. The actress made the trip in May alongside son Connor, 20, and husband Richard Gilliland, exclaiming,

“When I came back, there were four of us!”

The sizable age gap between her children hasn’t posed a problem, though the former 24 and Samantha Who? star admits that Connor was initially “more excited about the trip than the baby.”

Just a few days into the process, however, and Jean, 58, says her son was seeing things quite differently! “[Connor said] ‘This is incredible….I didn’t know I was going to feel this way…She’s amazing,’” Jean recalls.

Adding that brother and sister are “so smitten,” Jean went on to quip,

“We thought they were going to be closer in age when we first started this!”

Caught Caring: Madonna and Raising Malawi

Celebrity Baby Blog – Caught Caring

The tiny African nation of Malawi was unknown to many just a few short years ago, but pop icon Madonna brought it into the forefront when she initiated the adoption of son David Banda, 4, in 2006. Not long thereafter, she added daughter Mercy James, 4 this month, to her brood.

With more than 500,000 Malawian children orphaned by AIDS, the 51-year-old songstress admits in a new interview with CNN she “would love to take them all home” if she could. That’s not possible, of course, so Madonna did the next best thing: In 2006 she co-founded Raising Malawi, a non-profit organization aimed at delivering services and aid to the 14 million people who live there.

“We found and met a lot of people who are sick and dying of HIV and have no medical help,” she recalls. “It felt like a death camp. It was astonishing.”

At the same time, Madonna describes the Malawian people as “incredibly brave.” She adds,

“On the one hand I went there and thought: ‘I have to help, I have to save these people.’ And then I thought: ‘Wait a minute, I think it might be the other way around. I think they might be  saving me.’”

Giving back has given Madonna a better “appreciation for life,” she says. “I never intended to go to Malawi and dump a bunch of aid on people and flee the country; It’s always been about partnership.”

Her efforts will come to fruition in 2012, when the Raising Malawi Academy for Girls is scheduled to open.

The boarding school comes with a $15 million price tag, but Madonna has vowed to match each and every dollar donated towards the cause — and she’s matched $300,000 in donations already.

Amy Adams: Ravishing In Red!

Dave Allocca/Startraks

Sporting crimson from head to toe, a glowing Amy Adams steps out on Wednesday night at the New York City premiere of her latest film, Leap Year.

The actress, 35, and fiancé Darren Le Gallo are due with their first child together this spring.

What will they name the baby, whose sex they’ll soon find out (he or she wasn’t cooperating during the last ultrasound, Amy told David Letterman)?

“I don’t know yet! I really don’t know yet,” Amy explains to OK!.

“I’m gonna have to really meet the person before I know the name. I tend to be attracted to more traditional names, but who knows?”

Leap Year hits theaters Friday.
