David Miller/Abaca

Just imagine how fabulous the nursery must be: Vern Yip is now a designing dad.

Gavin Joshua Mannox was born Wednesday, Jan. 6 via surrogate to the HGTV star and his partner, PEOPLE has learned exclusively. The baby was 7 lbs., 6 oz., and 19 ½ inches long.

“He is beautiful and perfect and we are, naturally, already in love with him,” says Vern.

The Trading Spaces alum will soon be busy with more than diapers and bottles: Vern will be shooting his fifth season as head judge of Design Star, HGTV’s reality competition show, now helmed by Mark Burnett — the mastermind behind Survivor and The Celebrity Apprentice.

Kourtney Kardashian: Motherhood Is Fulfilling

Courtesy Life & Style for use on CBB

Last January, Kourtney Kardashian was a staple on the social scene.

This year, there’s only one guy she’s spending face time with:  Mason Dash, 4 weeks, the son she and her boyfriend, Scott Disick, welcomed on Dec. 14.

“I’m just loving all the time with him,” Kourtney, 30, tells Life & Style. “I really don’t miss my old life. I can’t imagine life without Mason now.”

Kourtney is the first to admit that her schedule has done a 180 since she’s become a mom.

“I used to get up and literally not stop until at least midnight,” Kourtney says.

Having ditched her high-paced social life, she’s now happiest playing house.

“I really don’t miss my freedom at all — there’s nothing I’d rather do than be home with Mason and Scott,” explains Kourtney.

“We relax, eat, sleep, play. Our biggest plans now are taking Mason out for a stroll or giving Mason his first bath. It’s amazing how fulfilling those things are for me.”

But Kourtney wasn’t always sure she’d be this content with motherhood.

“She was definitely scared before she had Mason, asking, ‘Am I going to be a great mother? Am I going to love this baby as much as I should?’” says Scott, 26. “And that all went out the door.”

In fact, her devotion to their child has brought the couple with the rocky past closer than ever. “She’s just ridiculously good with Mason,” Scott says. “She’s perfection. It’s made me fall a little bit more in love with her.”

Stylish Find: Tailored Shirts by Little Bell

Courtesy of Little Bell

Ever since we spotted Honor Warren in this super cute plaid top, we’ve been on the hunt to find out who makes it. Turns out, it’s from a new line called Little Bell created by Alicia Bell.

After years of designing tops for women (celeb fans include Oprah and Madonna), the mom-to-be decided to launch a collection of tailored button-downs for little girls.

Full of notice-me details like ruffles, bows and pleats, the shirts range from $65 to $75. Plus, they’re totally customizable. You can pick your choice of fabric (plaid, stripes, solids and floral) and buttons for each style. Our fave is the striped Mini Bow (above left) — you can dress it up or down.
