Sarah Jessica Parker 'So Proud' of James Wilkie

Bryan Bedder/Getty Images

A self-professed “great believer” in the Golden Rule, Sarah Jessica Parker says it is the value she most hopes to instill in son James Wilkie, 7, and twins Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge, 6 months.

“The idea of ‘do unto others as you would have them do unto you…’ I fall short of it constantly, but I try,” the 44-year-old actress tells Gotham magazine.

“I’ve been working on it with James Wilkie since the time he was little fellow and could really understand language.”

From the sound of things, the effort is paying off. “I’m so proud of who my son’s becoming and how hard he works to be a good little human being,” says the proud mama, adding,

“The hardest days [for your children] become your hardest days. Your most triumphant moments are when you see them feel good about themselves — to see your child learn how to read and ask questions.”

Lastly, when asked to define her own idea of perfect happiness, Sarah Jessica says it’s something she’s already achieved: “Healthy children, a healthy husband, all in a city that I love.”

James, Loretta and Tabitha are Sarah’s children with husband Matthew Broderick.

Brooklyn Junior: Urban Inspired Duds for Kids

Courtesy of Brooklyn Junior

Since 2008, Brooklyn Junior has been designing drool-worthy graphic tees and onesies made of super soft cotton. We love the bright colors and fun pictures (vintage cars, headphones, traffic light) — any cool kid (even big kids, if they made our size!) would want to wear them.

The company’s collection of fun kimono sets ($22 to $42) are also adorable, perfect for lounging around or playground playdates.

Brooklyn Junior also stocks a well-edited toy selection including the far-out Geemo ($42 to $80). Non-toxic and washable, they’re flexible magnetic limbs that grab and repel each other to make quirky shapes.

Check out all their products here.

Clive Owen 'Not Happy' About Daughters Watching His Films

Jon Furniss/WireImage

Clive Owen always “considered being a father separate from work,” he explains in a new interview with The Scotsman. “I go off and make movies; I come home, and I’m a dad and I hang with my girls.”

Filming last year’s The Boys Are Back – in which he portrays a widower struggling to raise his children — forever changed his approach, however. “Suddenly there was this brilliant exploration of being a father that resonated enormously with me,” he reveals.

As for daughters Hannah, 12, and Eve, 10, Clive says they would like to do a little exploring of their own — with dad’s movies at the top of their list! Earlier this year, Clive softened his stance and allowed the girls to see some of Duplicity — “apart from Julia Roberts and I kissing a bit,” he clarifies — and the reviews were good!

“They were very thrilled to see it,” he says. “They will be able to see… my work when they’re 18, but I’m not happy about them seeing all of my work even then.” He adds,

“It was really beginning to get to them that they couldn’t see my films. They’d ask: ‘Why can’t we watch it? We know it’s a movie!’ But the idea of them sitting down and watching Closer or Shoot ‘Em Up is a big no-no. Now they are putting serious pressure on me to do a kids’ film.”

Regardless of their curiosity, Clive, 45, says the girls remain thoroughly unimpressed by his career. “If anything they’re very disdainful,” he says with a laugh. “Hannah’s favorite phrase at the moment is, ‘If only they could see what you’re really like.’”

“They think I’m a joke. A friend of my 12-year-old showed her some magazine and went, ‘Your Dad’s on this list, and that’s weird.’ And I agreed with her.”

She’s often spotted out and about near her Windermere, FL home shuttling daughter Sam, 2, to school or running errands with son Charlie, 11 months, in tow.

To combat the unusually chilly weather in Florida last weekend, Charlie donned an adorable striped hat by Polarn O. Pyret.

Victoria Beckham: Sons Are 'So Different'

Bauer-Griffin

With a hat and some flats, Victoria Beckham says she’s able to enjoy Disneyland just like any other visitor — which is good, considering sons Brooklyn Joseph, 10 ½, Romeo James, 7, and Cruz David, 4 ½, “absolutely love it” there.

“It is such a great place,” the former Spice Girl, 35, exclaimed during a recent visit to Ryan Seacrest‘s On-Air radio program.

After jokingly offering thanks to Victoria for listening in “while carpooling,” Victoria clarified that she does indeed listen “every single” morning. “The kids really feel that you’re part of the family,” she added. From the sound of things, its one entry on a short list of things the boys can actually agree upon! “They are so different,” Victoria mused.

“I mean you’ve got Brooklyn who is a real boy, he’s turning into a teenager. It takes him quite some time to do his hair in the morning before he goes to school. Then we have Romeo who loves fashion. He likes to go out in a suit with a bowler hat…he’s a real fashion lover. And Cruz just wants to break dance every opportunity he gets.”

The boys are Victoria’s children with husband David Beckham.
