There’s a baby on the way for The Bold and the Beautiful star Jennifer Gareis!

The 39-year-old former beauty queen — who has portrayed Donna Logan Forrester on the CBS soap since 2006 — is expecting a son with fiancé Bobby Ghassemieh.

In a statement to Soap Opera Digest, Jennifer confirmed the happy news, adding:

“It’s a very special time in our lives. Bobby and I would like to thank everyone for all of their support and warm wishes of congratulations.”

Baby boy is due in early summer.

Congrats to Jennifer. I hope they write the pregnancy into the show.

I love her on the Bold and the Beautiful. It doesn’t seem like they will write her pregnancy in, because they are already showing her in loose outfits. She is also sitting a lot, holding something in front of her belly, or the camera only shows her top half. Congrats to Jennifer and Bobby!

Congrats to the happy couple! I have been a fan of Jennifers since she was on Y&R, however, they really need to write in her pregnancy instead of making her wear that blue coat all the time when B&B is supposed to be set in sunny Los Angeles. She is obviously pregnant so why not write it in? I guess the only other option is to have her character “out of town” for the next few months.

Mom Said It

"It helps that other moms had said that once they had their babies, they forgot they were ever pregnant. So once my focus became the baby and not the pregnancy, it was a very easy decision."
