Lance Armstrong's Mellow Max

He may be only 7-months-old, but Maxwell Edward Armstrong is already an accomplished Twitterer! Baby boy posted this photo of himself posing with his dad, cyclist Lance Armstrong, with the caption, “Me and my daddy @lancearmstrong. He’s a bike rider.”

Max is Lance’s son with girlfriend Anna Hansen. He also has twins Isabelle and Grace, 8, and son Luke, 10, with ex-wife Kristin.

What a cute expression on Max’s face.

WOW, he doesn’t even look like his dad. Anyone think so?

- Lisa on

Lisa, maybe the ears and the long forhead! Haha! :)

- Sarah on

Max is such a cutie – great smile!

He’s adorable! I can see the resemblance..in his nose, cheeks, mouth (and forehead!). Probably has his mom’s eyes…..

Lisa, I totally agree with you, I thought the same thing….he looks nothing like his Dad! He must look just like his Mom. I thought he did look like Lance when he was born but not so much now. I do think it’s so adorable that he has his “own” Twitter page! That’s just like, the cutest idea ever. :)

Oh, Max is soo cute. And I always thought he looks exactly like his Dad, but not in this picture. And Lance looks older than he is, or is that just my imagination? I mean, I totally adore him and he is just hot but he looks kind of old. ;)

What an adorable baby !

I guess Lance is weatherbeaten, he is outdoors in all weathers for long periods of time, that would be aging. What a miracle man he is though!

- Cara on

Lance may look older because of being out in the sun all the time, plus he has no fat on him. That makes a face look even older as it ages too. How old is he? I see a resemblance in the eyes.

Like father, like son!

Regardless of who Max looks like, i love him and his name.

Super cute!

I love this picture – he’s so adorable! My son has the same Mellow Johny’s onsie that he’s wearing.

- Amy on

Aw, so cute! Max has always his tongue stuck out, even when he was first born! My baby girl has always had her left arm up against her head when she’s asleep, since the day she came out!

He is a cutie!

Max looks a lot like Luke did when he was the same age. For those of us who have been LA fans since his days of riding as a Junior- he has been training and out in the weather again. That takes a huge toll on your skin despite the massive amounts of sunscreen that the riders use. As a cancer widow, Max is nothing more than a miracle baby and gives us all hope that there is LIFE after Survival. LIVESTRONG!

Um, no resemblance, but I’m not that surprised by this…

- christina on

they share the same hairline!

- Reader on

Lol…Lisa I thought the exact same thing.
I wonder who his siblings looked like at his age?

- RIP Michael on

He’s adorable….and so what if he doesn’t look like his daddy? Some kids only resemble one parent (take me, for example. I basically look like a female version of my father, and that has been the case ever since I was a very small child), and Max probably just happens to resemble his mommy. :)

i see a bit of resemblance :) wonderful smile

Lance was recently in my home town of Adelaide in Australia for the first race of his new team Radio Shack at the Tour Down Under. While they didn’t do great, Lance was incredibly warm and receptive to everyone he met while here and even snuck in a secret visit to visit cancer patients at one of the hospitals and spent time with them. The media only found out after he had visited and it was great to see that Lance is more than happy to do something nice for others without making it a PR stunt.

Lance, you and your family are welcome back any time! What a cutie pie!
