After attending Sunday’s Golden Globes ceremony as a nominee for her role as George Clooney‘s love interest in Up in the Air, Vera Farmiga plans to take flight herself!

The actress, 36, arrived at LAX on Monday with son Fynn — who just celebrated his first birthday — to return home to Ulster County, NY.

Joining the pair was Vera’s husband, musician Renn Hawkey of Deadsy (not pictured).

“My husband and I have made a pact,” she explains. “We are inseparable. He and my son just come along. I can’t handle it alone. I don’t like it when they’re not with me. I need them.”

i LOVED vera in Orphan, which is the only movie i’ve seen with her. I will probably see Up in the Air, but in Orphan, Vera was SUCH a good mommy! Her little girl in the movie, Maxine, was the cutest girl ever! Anyhoo, Fynn sure is cute – I can’t say whether he looks like Mom or Dad, since I’ve never seen Vera’s hubby…
