General Hospital's Rebecca Herbst Expecting Third Child

There’s a baby on the way for General Hospital‘s Rebecca Herbst, Soaps in Depth reports.

The soap opera star, 32, and her husband, former General Hospital actor Michael Saucedo are expecting their third child together. Rebecca is due Aug. 9th, and the pregnancy will be written into her character Elizabeth Webber’s story line.

The couple, who wed in June 2001, are already parents to Ethan, 8, and Ella Bailey, 5 ½.

Congratulations!!

Probably will go with another E name. Emmeline (Emmalyn), Emma, Emily, Eden, Elena, Eliza, Elise, Elliana, Eloise, Eva, Eve for girls. But I see them going with Emma or Emily. And for boys Elijah, Elliot, Evan, Eli, Eric, Emerson, Emery, Emmett, Everett, Ezra for boys. I see them going with Evan, Elijah, or something along those lines.

Congratulations to Becky and Michael! I love her and I think her kids are SO beautiful.

However,I hope they don’t write this into her storyline. Elizabeth used to be one of my favorite characters on the show,but they have destroyed her. She’s already got two kids by two different men. I am really hoping they go the big purse and cleverly placed plant route with this pregnancy!

I have to agree with those who have said that her pregnancy probably will be written into the storyline. However, I, personally, would rather it not be – Elizabeth’s character has been completely destroyed, and the “who’s the Daddy” storyline is so overdone.

Congratulations to the entire family!! How exciting for them! I remember reading a Mother’s Day article in a soap opera magazine with her children in it and she said that both her and Michael didn’t intend on an E theme and that they weren’t looking to continue it. However this article was about four years old!

As a GH fan, I really hope that they don’t write the pregnancy into Liz’s storyline unless they want Lucky to be the father. But I trust that however it’s sorted it will work out well.

Another happy camper here about the baby news…unless it’s written into the story. And if it is, it MUST be Lucky;s! I mean, if not, Liz would then have three kids, and not one of them really Lucky’s, the love of her life??? LAME!

Congrats to Becky and Michael! Elizabeth is my favorite character on GH! I know it may not be popular but I love Liz and Nick! They are making the show for me and their chemistry is off the charts! Though, I am not behind Liz having another baby, for me a pregnancy would not make sense, it would be forced….

But anyway, back to the topic! I am so happy for Becky and Michael, I too remember reading an interview Becky gaveand she said she wanted a third baby. I am so happy she has a new little one on the way, her wish came true!! Her older two are so adorable that I know this one is going to be just as cute as their brother and sister and not to mention his/her georgous parents!
