Awww, Congrats to Jillian & Grant on their expanding family, children are a blessing from the Lord.

Alice on

Well they have clearly chosen their letter! 😀 Congrats!

Catca on

He came slightly early as she wasn’t due until Jan. 31. Haven’t said that, he would have been full term at 37 weeks! Sounds like he is very healthy! Congrats Jillian and Grant!

cris on

Cute name!! Congrats to their newly expanded family…but what is with the ‘tweets’ when he is less than an hr old?????

Cynthia on

The R letter repeating is kinda corny but its still cute for the brother and sister.

celebsarah on

Sounds like “Rock ‘n’ Roll.”

The repeating ‘r’ thing reminds me of names I picked for my pretend (future) babies when I was 10. Rrridiculously stupid sounding.

Danielle on

I love Rocco, but Rocco Rio does not sound good together. Rocco and Ruby is such a cute brother/sister pair!

daniela on

Love Rocco but not feeling the Rio. Regardless, Congrats to Jillian and family!

what’s up with the name Rocco lately??? Congrats!! Rocco and Ruby sound cute together!!

Elizabeth on

I like Rocco and Rio, but I don’t think they sound great together.

Ashlyn on

Rocco Rio? Could they have chosen 2 names that sound worse together?

sil on

Congratulations! …but Rio? really? …means river in spanish…don’t like it, but it’s her son so my opinion doesn’t count 🙂

Luna on

Seperately, i’m not crazy about the names but for some reason i like the baby’s name. I would have preferred Rocco River but he’s not my son. Congrats to Jillian, Grant, and Ruby. By the way, don’t really like repeat letters and repeat sounds on names.

Reader on

that’s a whole lot of r’s, and their names are very ‘one with nature’ sounding. I don’t care for the 3 r’s together on both names, but I have heard much worse!

Natasha on

Not liking the two names together but I do like them seperately. 🙂

Karoline on

Awww, congratulations!

Congrats to Jillian and her family on their new blessing.

I can’t believe nobody’s posted flames for Jillian possibly having an elective c-section. It’s nobody’s business. Glad everybody’s being civil!

Mallory on

Congrats to them on the baby, but GOOD LORD their kids’ names are a mouthful!

Forever Moore on

I like the name, it dits their family style. Don’t know about both names ending in O though, but still cute!

Ana on

I think the name will grow on me, its just a lot of R’s to get used too at first!
Suppose he will only get called Rocco so its not a huge deal, unless its different in America and often people are called by their forename and middle name? I dont know?!

Either way Congratulations to the family!

Brandi on

Congratulations to them! I think I am one of the few who love the name.

Dalaina if you read her twitter the csection was not elective.

Mom2boys on

I read the twitter, and it seems elective to me. Not that it matters or not. Congrats to Jillian!

Brandi on

Well here are her tweets, I don’t know how you get elective out of that but draw your own conclusions I guess.

So Rio means river in Spanish. In Spanish, the order of words are reversed. The little guy’s name is basically River Rock. How funny! I really, really like her! Congrats to all : )

Aurora on

I agree with the poster who said it was corny but kind of cute.

But if they’re planning to have as many kids as the Duggars, they’ll need a lot of imagination to keep finding names that “fit the rule” 😉

electra on

Alliteration isn’t my thing in names.

g!na on

Congrats on Baby Rocco! today is Harlow Madden’s B-day! she turned 2! sharing a B-day together!

Jane on

Rocco is cute but Rio sounds terrible with it.

Ceebs on

To clarify: elective c-section means per Mom’s request. Medically necessary means just that – there is a reason (breech, congenital defect that won’t tolerate a vaginal delivery, etc.) the doctor shedules and performs it. Emergency c-section is medically necessary, but unplanned – the need for it is realized when Mom is already in labor.

And regarding the post stating they can’t believe there weren’t negative comments regarding her c-section, that’s why so many of us love this site. The comments aren’t tolerated, and are removed.

Aurora- I don’t think Jillian will be having anymore kids. She is 43 and a half!

Cute names-Rocco and Ruby. I guess that her househusband will be very busy with a two year old and a newborn.

CONGRATULATIONS to the Reynolds family!!!! I really like Rocco Rio, think it flows well w/ Ruby Raven…I really hope to see pics of the new little guy soon cuz his big sissy is beautiful, no doubt he will! He shares his birthday w/ two other Celeb babies..Mason (son of Melissa Joan Hart) (Jan 11, 2006) and Harlow (daughter of Nicole Richie and Joel Madden) (Jan 11, 2008). Anyway, congrats again!

CelebBabyLover on

Laura- I think Aurora was just being tongue-in-cheek (hence the 😉 at the end of her post). 🙂 That being said, I agree with you. 🙂

Tina. on

reminds me of River Phoenix, Rio. i dont really like the name at all, either of them. too many r`s sounds corny. but its their kids 🙂

Congratulations,on the arrival of your baby boy. Truly enjoy his name,I’m all for being different.Again, congratulations to you and your family on such a wonderful blessing.
