After five months spent attempting to start a family, Rescue Me actress Andrea Roth and her fiancé, producer Todd Biermann, have received their wish: the couple are expecting their first child.

Due in mid-April, Andrea, 42, tells TV Guide says that despite a pregnancy bout with swine flu, everything since has been smooth sailing.

According to the mom-to-be, her announcement received a warm welcome by all on the set of her show, including executive producer Peter Tolan. “He was, and is, nothing but incredibly happy and really, really accommodating for me,” Andrea says.

And while Andrea admits that she’s still in the dark as to whether her character will be written off the show — which is in production until May — she’s not taking any chances.

“I might have to say, ‘Sorry, but my doctor says I’m not supposed to get into any cars … planes … or be near any knives…'”

Congrats! I love her on Rescue Me, i’m guessing they are going to just hide the pregnancy on the show since she just had a baby not too long ago on the show

sara- Speaking of Sarah Jane Morris, I wonder if she’s given birth yet? Per CBB’s posts about her, her due date is this month.🙂
