Star-Worthy Find: Mabel's Labels

Courtesy of Mabel’s Labels

Labels are essential — just ask any parent of a preschooler. But not every label is created equal. When Tori Spelling tagged bags at son Liam Aaron‘s 2nd birthday party, she reached for Mabel Label’s. And she’s not the only A-lister fan. Jennifer Garner, Reese Witherspoon and Tina Fey also use them to ID their kids’ items.

Bold and bright, they stick to virtually anything — toys, dishes, bottles, lunch boxes and more. And, they’re dishwasher and microwave safe, as well as UV resistant.

Make sure to check out the company’s new collection — Label Out Loud ($21 for pack of 45). It’s their first full color line. It features over 20 cool motifs and designs, so you’ll never tire of creating new ones for your tots.

Natalie Morales Raves About Age Difference Between Boys

Courtesy Mom

When it comes to infertility, Natalie Morales has a message: Trust your instincts!

The Today Show co-anchor, 37, notes in a new interview with the premiere issue of Mom that it took 2 ½ years to become pregnant with her second child, 15-month-old Luke Hudson, and even then it was only after undergoing intrauterine insemination.

“I think the key is, if you feel it is taking too long and you are in your mid-30s, as I was, go talk to somebody,” she advises. “Don’t wait.”

“Sometimes doctors say, ‘Oh don’t worry, just wait.’ But if it’s been about a year and you are having trouble, go and see a doctor and find out what’s wrong or what’s happening with your body.”

Baby boy was worth the wait, of course, especially for new big brother Josh, 5 ½.

“I think the age difference has actually worked to my benefit, because from day one Josh was so excited,” she notes. “He always wants to kiss and hold the baby.”

Life as a mom-of-two is “the most amazing thing,” Natalie says.

“You think you can’t love a child anymore than you do, but seeing how much [Josh] loves his younger brother, that love intensifies.”

Gilles Marini Imports French Tradition to Hollywood

Make no mistake: Gilles Marini takes Christmas very seriously. He buys a tree right after Thanksgiving and keeps it up well into January. And the French actor says he always makes sure “there are a lot of gifts under that tree” on Christmas morning for his children Georges, 10, and Juliana, 3, with his wife Carole, 32.

Even though he’s lived in Los Angeles for a decade, Gilles — who waltzed his way to second place on Dancing With the Stars and currently stars on Brothers & Sisters — makes it a point to inject a taste of France into his family’s holidays by celebrating Three Kings Day on January 6th.

Trista Sutter Says Ryan Is 'So Much Fun' As a Dad

Kevin Mazur/WireImage

Six years of wedded bliss is something to savor in any context, but in the world of reality television it is a particularly impressive milestone. For Bachelorette alums Ryan and Trista Sutter — parents to Maxwell Alston, 2, and Blakesley Grace, 8 ½ months — the big day was celebrated in a big way.

“We actually got a babysitter, which we never do: Max’s teacher at school,” Trista tells Inside TV. “It’s just a two-day toddler program.”

“She came over and had story time for the kids. We went out and just went to dinner and a movie. It was fabulous.”

Ryan continues to earn rave reviews from Trista, who calls her husband “so much fun” as a dad. His enthusiasm has kicked into high gear now that Blakesley is of an age to play because, Trista says, Ryan “wants to get down and dirty with her.” She explains,

“He wants to be able to take her out in the snow, and teach her how to go sledding, build snowmen, and go skiing. He is…always really lively with them. Also calming. Blakesley was crying, and he was trying to soothe her and be there for her.”

Those are precisely the moments Trista says she enjoys most as a mom. “Not that I ever want my child to hurt, but if Max is like, ‘Mommy, mommy’ just knowing that I can be that person for him and be there for him,” she continues, “is the absolute best thing that has ever happened to me.”

Blakesley also has a special way of warming mom’s heart. Trista adds,

“Everyday, I love walking in and seeing my baby girl smiling from ear-to-ear for me in the morning. I love getting hugs.”

Seal and Lou Sulola: Adorable in Aspen

GSI

In Colorado for Christmas, Seal on Tuesday was spotted cradling a bundled-up Lou Sulola, 10 ½ weeks, while walking the snowy streets of Aspen. Just ahead of the daddy-daughter duo was wife Heidi Klum and the couple’s oldest child, 5 ½-year-old Leni.

The family of six — together, Heidi and Seal are also parents to Henry, 4, and Johan, 3 — have much to be grateful for this holiday season. The 46-year-old musician acknowledged as much in a recent interview.

“The harder you work … and visualize something, the luckier you get,” Seal noted. “The luck comes in the fact that Heidi and I have healthy children and we are relatively healthy, too.”
