Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie treat their eldest child, stylish son Maddox Chivan, 8, to a special event Thursday night: The premiere of Invictus in Beverly Hills.
But that’s not all they’ve done for the little guy lately: It was recently reported that last year, the couple donated $1 million to various causes in his home country of Cambodia.
The actors are also parents to Pax Thien, 6, Zahara Marley, 4 ½, Shiloh Nouvel, 3 ½, and 16-month-old twins Knox Léon and Vivienne Marcheline.

The weeks and months postpartum are hardly a time where new moms feel sexy, but Vera Farmiga says that George Clooney makes the impossible seem possible. The 36-year-old actress filmed Up in the Air alongside George shortly after welcoming son Fynn, 10 ½ months, and notes in a new interview that “it takes a woman a good six or seven months to get in the groove after maternity.” Her own groove was fast-forwarded by the suave actor, however!
Vera reveals,
“There’s just sleepless nights, so lack of sleep takes a toll, so I didn’t always feel buttoned up and sexy and confident and comfortable in my skin. But it’s pretty effortless with George.”
While her sex appeal was questionable going into the project, Vera says other issues — like baby weight — were never in doubt. “When he offered me the job I was in my eight month of pregnancy,” she notes. “I was doing the math in my head.”
“It seemed do-able. And I’ve always been someone who can fluctuate weight accordingly to what the character requires … I knew I could handle it.”
Fynn is Vera’s first child with husband Renn Hawkey. Up in the Air hits theaters Friday.

Bedtime doesn’t have to be a total snoozer. Author Karen Moore’s Mommy Loves Me ($7) and Daddy Loves Me ($7) board books are sweet options for that last book of the day. The crisp, colorful illustrations by Mandy Stanley will leave kids smiling on their way to dreamland.
Plus, the book promotes equal-parenting. My favorite passage is “Mommy even loves me when she has to go away to go to work or shop for us and Daddy’s there to play.” It’s nice that the author acknowledges that not every mommy bear is wearing an apron and playing games all day long!

Britney‘s baaaack.
The pop star, who celebrated her 28th birthday on Wednesday, is posing for the cover of the January issue of ELLE magazine – and we have a look at the photos.
Britney walks the line between glamorous and sweet and sexy in the pictorial, which features her two sons with ex-hubby Kevin Federline, Sean Preston, 4, and Jayden James, 3.
In one photo, she peeks out from under the covers of a fluffy bed and in another she props herself on the kitchen counter as one of her sons plays in mess of cupcakes and frosting.
In her real life, things are going swimmingly for the singer, who recently wrapped the Australian leg of her Circus tour.
While sources shot down rumors of an engagement to boyfriend Jason Trawick, the couple are “very happy,” a source tells PEOPLE. And besides spending her birthday with her favorite boys, Britney got an extra special B-day gift: A Grammy nomination for best dance recording.
