Tom Brady: 'Back to Drawing Board' for Baby Name

Bauer Griffin

When it comes to picking out a name for their week-old baby, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen are still huddling.

The couple had already settled on a name months before Gisele, 29, gave birth to a boy last Tuesday, but then she had a change of heart.

“It’s kind of back to the drawing board,” Tom, 32, said in an interview on WEEI Sports Radio. “We thought we had a name picked out for about six months and then about two days before he was born she said, ‘I don’t like that name anymore.’”

And Tom, who quickly returned to work as quarterback of the New England Patriots, says the couple will need more than the little time they can currently scrape together to have a serious discussion about the matter.

“She makes all these decisions,” Tom joked, adding, “I haven’t been home all week. We have about seven or eight choices. I have got to be home for more than just two-three hours so we can talk about it.”

His only condition? “It will probably be a traditional [name],” he says. And though he doesn’t mind choosing a Brazilian name, in honor of his wife’s heritage, “I certainly want a name that I can pronounce!”

Seal Opens Up About Decision to Adopt Leni

Splash News Online

It’s official! In a new interview with the UK’s Mirror, Seal says that his adoption of daughter Leni, 5 ½, is complete — but the 46-year-old singer is quick to point out that not much has changed in the home he shares with wife Heidi Klum.

“It doesn’t make [Leni] any more or less my daughter,” he notes. “She always has been.”

“All it means is that both Heidi and I wanted her to have the same last name as the rest of us…It was about Leni. I don’t want her to feel different because I know what that’s like, being a kind of stepson. And I don’t want that dynamic for my little girl.”

Leni’s biological father Flavio Briatore “was a gentleman about the whole thing,” according to Seal, who adds, “I have a tremendous amount of respect for him.”

Praising the Italian businessman for the way he handled a “really difficult” situation, Seal admits he doubts he could have “been that adult about it” had the roles been reversed.

“I certainly have nothing but good things to say about the way he’s been with us and he’s more than welcome to see Leni any time he wants to.”

Life with his family of six — together, Heidi and Seal are also parents to Henry, 4, Johan, 3, and Lou Sulola, 9 weeks — is “not all a bed of roses,” Seal says, but “in the grand scheme of things, it is the perfect life.” The couple consider themselves lucky to a point, but also feel they’ve earned all that they’ve achieved.

“The harder you work … and visualize something, the luckier you get,” he notes. “The luck comes in the fact that Heidi and I have healthy children and we are relatively healthy, too.”

When they learned they were expecting their fourth child, Seal admits he was nervous. “I found myself thinking before Lou was born, ‘We’ve got three kids, how on earth am I going to find any more love to give another kid?’” he says.

Whatever doubts he might have been feeling dissipated quickly, however.

“Lou turned up and the first time I held her she looked up at me with this frown, which she’s definitely got from me, and I fell in love at that point…It was really emotional this time because we knew this was the last time [but] four kids is enough.”

Jennifer Hudson Determined to Spread Holiday Cheer

Dara Kushner/INF

Scrooges beware! Jennifer Hudson is on a mission to convert you.

“It hurts me so when I see people like, ‘Whatever, Christmas is just another day,’” the self-proclaimed “holiday fanatic” told PEOPLE over the phone Friday. “I’m that person who’s going to go over there and get you into the holiday spirit. And that’s how I’ve always been.”

With that kind of attitude, it’s no surprise the Academy Award winner plans to help audiences across the country get into the spirit Monday with her first televised holiday special.

Jennifer Hudson: I’ll Be Home for Christmas features musical performances shot on location in Jennifer’s native Chicago: the local church where she got her start singing in the choir and the music academy where she studied, among other places. Hudson will also introduce audiences to her family, former teachers and childhood friends.

“The first thing you do for the holidays is go back home, so I went back home, and the next thing you do is spend it with all of your family and your friends in those familiar places. That’s why I chose to go back home and share it and make it personal,” Jennifer said.

As excited as Hudson is to share this Christmas with her fans, there’s one person she simply can’t wait to spend it with – her 4-month-old son David Daniel Otunga Jr.

“I need to make it great for him,” says the Dreamgirls star of her son’s first Christmas. “I just want to make it as exciting and fun for him as it was for me. And I want him to have this feeling each time this time of year comes around. Whatever that is, that’s what I want to make my tradition.”

With so much already on her plate, there’s one thing the merry mom won’t have to worry about this holiday season – preparing Christmas dinner.

“I learned my lesson from Thanksgiving,” she said. “I bit off far more than I could chew trying to cook because I am not a cook!”

Jennifer Hudson: I’ll Be Home for Christmas airs Monday at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
