Kendra Wilkinson Says Son 'Completes the Family'

Amy Graves/WireImage

When their son Hank Randall IV arrived last Friday, Kendra Wilkinson says that husband Hank Baskett was ready — with a new mom gift in hand!

“He got me a little egg locket,” the first-time mom reveals to OK! “It’s a little blue egg necklace with a little bow tie on it to represent our baby boy…I’m gonna put a picture of him in it.” The present parade continued, however, with a charm bracelet that contains a charm for mom, a charm for baby, and a diamond heart. Kendra adds,

“I’m gonna get one for Hank too, so it’s like a family charm bracelet. That was very special to me.”

Looking forward to the holidays, Kendra says that baby boy “completes the family,” and reveals that his birth was a unifying experience.

It’s so cool how this little baby, this little bundle of joy, just brought all families together. Hank’s family was out here, everybody was out here for this. Not one person was missing.”

Star-Worthy Find: Tyke Rider Early Rider Bikes

Tyke Rider

Learning to ride a bike is a childhood rite of passage — especially in sunny L.A. where Tori Spelling and Minnie Driver‘s little ones ride around on Tyke Rider‘s Early Rider bikes ($150 to $200). Unlike traditional tricycles, these wooden and pedal-less bikes help kids — as young as 20 months-old — really master balance, which is key to building confidence for later riding.

Tyke Rider

Already hugely popular in Europe, they’re now available stateside. And, the company’s offering an exclusive 15% off discount to all CBB readers. Just enter code “tykerider” at checkout. And don’t forget to buy one of their super cute helmets. We love the polka dot style ($45, left).

Sarah Jessica Parker Not Ruling Out Another Child

Santiago Baez/Ramey

Although they only recently welcomed twin daughters Marion Loretta Elwell and Tabitha Hodge, 5 ½ months, Sarah Jessica Parker tells USA Weekend that her family of five with husband Matthew Broderick could continue to grow.

“It doesn’t mean it’s over,” she reveals. “It doesn’t mean we won’t continue to try to have a bigger family, that we won’t continue to pursue all sorts of ways of doing it, adoption — who knows?”

The 44-year-old actress is quick to point out, however, that she is hardly going it alone. “I hear a lot of actresses pretend they don’t have help, and that can’t be true,” she says before adding,

“It’s really unfair to working women in this country who read [celebrity news] and think, Why can’t I lose weight when I’ve had a baby? Well, everyone you’re reading about has money for a trainer and a chef. That doesn’t make it realistic.”

With Sex and the City 2 poised for a May 2010 release, Sarah Jessica has been busy — but as she hits up a New York City grocery store for peas to go with the lamb chops she would be preparing for dinner, she tells the interviewer that her role at home is the most exciting of all.

“I love being a housewife,” she says. “I am dead serious.”

“There is enormous satisfaction when you’re a mother and you’ve gotten through a day. I can’t explain it. It’s different than being satisfied about your work life, which makes you worry more.”

In addition to the girls, Sarah Jessica and Matthew are parents to James Wilkie, 7.

Liev Schreiber: Fatherhood Forces Me to Leave Baggage Behind

Ron Asadorian/Splash News Online

With two kids two and under, date nights are a thing of the past for actors Liev Schreiber and fiancée Naomi Watts. And while balancing fatherhood and a successful career has undoubtedly left Liev with little alone time, he’s certainly not complaining.

“It’s kind of amazing, actually: You go through all this stuff in rehearsal and you come home and they don’t give a crap; they just want your full attention,” he shares in a new interview with Time Out New York.

Preparing for his latest stint on Broadway — alongside Scarlett Johansson in A View from the Bridge, opening in January — Liev, who portrays a Brooklyn dockworker, admits the role has been far from easy. Fortunately, his worries are washed away when he is met at the front door by his son Alexander ‘Sasha’ Pete, 2.

“It’s been a total savior. [Sasha] is like, ‘Daddeeeeee!’ and he just wants to play. You dump the baggage right away and reconnect with all these human feelings. It’s such a good hit.”

Often trading off work schedules with Naomi to ensure that at least one parent is with the children — “You gotta negotiate with each other and support each other in that regard” — Liev jokes he has felt pangs of jealously over a few of her stellar performances.

“I’ve wanted a couple of roles she’s played,” he laughs. “No, but kids make a big difference. You want to be there all the time, and when you’re both working, it’s hard.”

Liev and Naomi are also parents to Samuel Kai, who celebrated his first birthday Sunday.
