Candace Cameron Bure and Her Little Elves

Johns PkI/Splash News Online

Actress Candace Cameron Bure, husband Valeri Bure and their kids — Natasha, 11, Lev, 9 ½, and Maksim, 7 ½, — attend ABC Family’s elf party, promoting their new TV movie, Santa Baby 2: Christmas Maybe, on Monday at Bryant Park in New York City.

The former Full House star, 33, who now appears on Make It or Break It, took time to visit an old costar while in the Big Apple — she and the kids stopped by Broadway’s Bye Bye Birdie to check in with star John Stamos!

Wow they’re a beautiful family! The youngest boy looks just like his Dad!

- Andrea_momof2 on

wow, I LOVED Full House and it’s so weird to see D.J. as a mom!!!! She looks great and has a beautiful family!

- Pam on

This is one gorgeous family. Natasha and Lev look so much like Candace, especially Lev!

- J.D. on

What a beautiful family!

- Lorelei on

How cute is this family?! Coming from the Full House days, its is a little weird seeing how “DJ” is all grown up. So glad that she has a good head on her shoulders and did not lose herself from Hollywood. Great looking family! :-)

- Sharone on

Cute family. I think her daughter looks just like her.

- Ashlyn on

wow, they all are GORGEOUS. Valeri has aged quite a bit, not in bad way though, he still looks great.
the children are just beautiful and candace looks the same she did over 10 years ago.

- Denise-Switzerland on

Candace looks gorgeous, and she has a beautiful family! I agree….I LOVED Full House and it is kind of funny seeing her with kids that were around her age when she first started on the show.

- CTBmom on

Such a beautiful family!

- Jessi on

Her daughter is her twin!!! So cute!

- Amanda on

OMG! Her oldest two look sooo much like her at their age!! She started acting in Full House around the ages they are and they resemble her so much!

- urbanadventurertales on

I love love love this family…beautifuuuul!!!!!!!!!!!! I miss watching Full House…everyone is so grown up now! DJ and Stephanie are now mamas (Jodie Sweetin’s daughter Zoie)….Michelle is onto her career, the twins Nicky and Alex (Blake and Tommy Wilhoit) are now in college!!! Man I miss the old times!! By the way, I kind of hope Candance and Valeri have another baby in the future. They are still young, so they can still add to the brood, but of course it’s up them lol :) . It’d be so cute to see them w/ another one because their kids are so darn beautiful!!

- J.J. on

They are such a beautiful family. It’s good to see that some child stars can grow up to be happy.

- Jane on

I loved Full House and still watch it. I wish that they would do a reunion show!

- Jessi on

Lev looks just like his momma!!

JJ- I thought it was funny how you referred to ‘Michelle’ as one person: “Michelle is onto her career” LOL!!!

- cris on

cute kids! i don’t really know much about her life nowadays. i hope she is nothing like her brother. they look like a nice family.

- JM on

What a beautiful family! They are all gorgeous.

@JM – Candace, like Kirk, is a born-again Christian and works with a variety of evangelical Christian ministries as an inspirational speaker to share her faith with others and endorses several Christian homeschooling academies.

- Christina on

That is one good looking, blond family! Wow! So gorgeous, all of them.

- Sarah on

could they be any more gorgeous?!! geez!

- french gigi on

What a fantastic looking family. They deserve to be in a magazine!!

- cali on

What a great looking family. I think Candace is prettier now than when she was in her teens on Full House. It would be nice to see her acting again since it’s been a while since and we haven’t scene her on the small screen in quite some time. I feel like I have grown up with her and Kirk all these years!

- Lisa2 on

Christina, you beat me to it! I LOVE Candace and admire her and her strong Christian values. She’s a wonderful inspirational speaker and is a person who truly “walks the walk.” She has such a gorgeous family! Love all the kids’ Russian names!

- FLMom on

^^ thanks for clearing that up guys. i didn’t know that about her. i hope she is at least more tolerant than her brother. it is hard to believe that she could also be as homophobic as he is.

- JM on

Candace isn’t as extreme as Kirk. Candace focuses more on her family than pushing her ideas on others. Kirk needs to lighten up.

- Kathy on

I love Candace! Such a great family photo. I’m not old enough to remember Valeri when he played hockey, but I do know his brother Pavel played here in Vancouver :)

- Brooklyn on

what a beautiful family!

- missloUiSiAna on

what a gorgeous looking family!
:)

- Amy on

One of the most gorgeous families!! Beautiful mom, gorgeous dad and 3 very good looking kids!!

And I still happen to find myself catching episodes on tv and end up sitting there watching them. Then I think to myself your pathetic time to find a life LOL

- JMO on

I think Natasha looks a LOT like Kirk! Her face shape and everything. Very cute just like her Uncle!

I also agree with the other posters…I appreciate and respect that Candace has Christian views and isn’t ashamed to share them. She is a terrific role model for me other Christian mothers.

- Elle on

I loved her on full house! She seems like such a normal person and even keeps her kids out of the spotlight for the most part! I even like her brother Kirk (I thought it was funny when he was her cousin on full house, and I LOVED him on growing pains), plus he seems inspirational to me (he does A TON with charity he adopted 4 kids!) Both seem so family oriented.

- Erika on

i guess i’m the only one here who really really really doesn’t like kirk cameron and his views. seems strange to me as his type always strike me as the kind who are oh so family oriented as long as it fits their narrow description of what family should be, shame really… i hope his kids are more open-minded than he is.
but of course everyone is entitled to their own opinion about him, i guess i am just alone in my opinion here.

- JM on

I want to say this is a very good looking family indeed! The kids are all adorable and each one have their parents looks in them. I loved watching her in “Full House”. She looked beautiful then and she still looks beautiful now! Merry Christmas to them!

- Sandy on

Her and one of her sons came into my work once to eat and she is so tiny and cute in person. I don’t remember which son it was but I am thinking its the one with the rounder face. He was so cute.

- Bren on

JM, you’re not alone. Of course he is entitled to his views but the way he comes across and the remarks he makes are not for me. It definitely made me lose respect for him.

As for Candace, I think she’s gotten more beautiful with age. They seem to be a wonderful family.

- Ashleigh on

My gosh that is a GORGEOUS family!!!

- Becky on

OMG all the kids just look like their mom! Specially the one in the middle

- Anon on

JM, you are definitely not alone. I find Kirk to be very intolerant and can’t stand him. I haven’t really followed Candace, so I don’t know… but he is generally the reason I haven’t paid attention to her.

- Lis on

sounds like JM is really, really, really trying to start a debate on Kirk Cameron and his beliefs, enough already! We each have our own views on what family is, true; and that is the beauty of it! My belief is a parent is a mother/father or mother/mother or father/father or grandfather/grandmother or whoever it is that will love, care for and provide a nurturing, stable home for a child…maybe Kirks or someone else’s view is different, and I am okay with that!

- cris on

cris, i didn’t realise you decided on how much we could discuss various topics here. i’ll be sure to check with you in future. to be honest, most discussions here go off topic very quickly and everyone is allowed to express their opinion. if you want me to talk about candance instead of kirk i could say all sorts of things about her religion and how ridiculous i find it, but if you look, originally i WAS actually talking about candance and wondering whether she held the same beliefs as her brother because that does affect how you perceive someone. they look like a happy family here and i was just wanting to find out a bit more about her background seeing as i don’t really follow her.
i have more than enough to say about kirk (far more than i have said) but i would save that for a post about him.

and thanks to those who supported me or at least my right to express an opinion, freedom of speech right?

- JM on

JM- You come across as the intolerant one! Theres not even a picture of Kirk Cameron so why bring him up? So what people don’t agree with you, btw I don’t agree with you either and guess what that’s my right. You feel how you want but you can’t force your views on anyone either. Its obvious that Chris is right- you only want to start an argument where one shouldn’t exist. Candace has a beautiful family and great values…kudos to her!

- Shea on

JM you are not alone! I don’t mind people loving their faith I despise those who preach it to others! TMZ caught Kirk at a campus preaching to students and handing out bible pamphlets of some sort and even arguing with college students about religion. This may sound harsh but I always tell people who start with their religious antics to Love your God but save it for church (or home)! Sorry I guess growing up with a “born again” (whatever that means) grandfather I’ve been officially turned away from people like Kirk. I think Candace is a little more reserved though about it.

- JMO on

Why is it that anyone that lives as the Bible teaches is “homophobic”??? The Bible says it in black and white. homosexuals are an abomination to God. The Bible states, “9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality” (1 Corinthians 6:9). There are many other references in both the Old and New Testaments that make God’s view on this clear.
God created man in his own image then created woman to be his helpmate. He did not create two men or two women to be partners, nor did he intend for things like “Bi-sexuality” to exist. In fact if you read the Bible it clearly explains that he destroyed a whole city due to immorality (read Genesis 18, 19).
I do not ever condone anyone mistreating someone in any way or committing hate crimes. As Christian’s we are taught to love the sinner not the sin.
But, it is clearly not a “normal” lifestyle that was intended when creation occured. It would be written in the Bible if it had been. Sorry, you can’t argue with God’s word.

- Traci on

Great picture. Not a fan of her “Christian ministries” work, per se, but I agree that she doesn’t appear nearly as extreme or narrow-minded as her brother.

- christina on

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and freedom of speech, but is it necessary to try and start a debate on someone’s belief’s or religion on here? this site (correct me if im wrong) is about looking at celebrity’s children (if you choose too) and see them as they change, grow, mature, what ever you choose to call it. About posting POSITIVE comments on the children, hopefully not NEGATIVE ones that anyone possible including the children could read oneday. honestly posting stuff about their parents belief’s, religion, views, or anything of that matter has nothing to do with the pictures of the children posted on here for you to enjoy looking at rite? just asking…

- lori on

Traci-

All of your opinions are based on your personal belief in the existance of a Christian God and the infailability of the biblical text YOU choose to read. And many people do not believe in either of those. As is their right.

You can believe anything you want until you are blue in the face, but don’t you dare tell people they are “wrong” and you are “right” for the way they choose to live.

I’m not gay or bisexual or atheist… and I found your comments terribly offensive. Mind your own business.

- ada on

Actually Traci you can. Cute kids.

- Caroline on

Traci, wow! The woman was only created as a helpmate?? How nice of God to give men some helpers…..

I have to agree with JM and JMO. Believe what you want to believe but please don’t bother other people with it. Missionary work is one of the reason for the many wars on this planet. The world would be a for more peaceful place without religion.

Cameron has a beautiful family, I hope she teaches them to respect everyone.

- Anna on

i’ll say it again, i was actually originally asking about candence and please don’t pretend like i am the first person to talk about someone related to the person in the post – federline post – we talk about britney, nicole kidma post – we talk about tom cruise etc. so that is a weak argument.

and i don’t think i ever said that anyone here wasn’t allowed to express their opinion so how am i intolerant? just because i find the views of many fundamentalist evangelical christians abhorrent? well traci’s post kind of proves my point. what she said is TO ME as disgusting as racism and i will not apologise for that opinion.thank you ada and JMO for you mature comments. an example: ada said she is not an atheist but we both agree that traci’s comments were out of line, see i’m not saying she has to share my opinions (about atheism) just that she lets me have them, which she does.
i never intended to offend anyone, honestly, but to suggest that anything that i said was even nearly as offensive as what traci says is ridiculous and if you do suggest that then i am very sad for you.

- JM on

Traci, the bible also condones slavery.

- Jayde on

The difference between Candace and Kirk is that Candace seems to mostly recognize that her beliefs are her own and won’t work for everyone. She just focuses on raising her children as she sees fit. Kirk is determined to make the whole world think like he does.

Cameron seems like a nice woman, and she sure has some cute kids! I disagree with those saying Natasha is her clone, though, I think Natasha looks like her dad!

- Molly on

I am so happy for Candace!!! She and her husband have beautiful children. She grew up to be a wonderful Christian wife, mother and role model for young kids growing up watching Full House.

- Amillia Henderson on

Wow – what a gorgeous family! Candace really is absolutely stunning!

- ErykaWynter on

wow her daughter and son in the middle of the photo look so much like her. i didn’t even know dj was married with kids, lol

- jessie on

I think what the problem is when people believe word for word what the bible says…a book written (and rewritten) hundreds of years ago seemed to be the one’s who always have a clouded and closed mind about life.
This is why I wipe my hands away from it all. I make my own judgements about life and people. I don’t let someone or something tell me how I should or shouldn’t live my life. I write my own bible ;)

- JMO on

Candace looks so stunning with 3 kids! I love Full House and her in it. Such a picture perfect family. I would like to see them have another child, maybe a 2nd girl.

- Kelly on

“i hope she is nothing like her brother.”

Actually, Kirk is involved in a lot of charity work for children. You don’t have to agree with his religious views to appreciate him.

- Ply on

ply, that’s like saying that someone who is racist and is also involved in charity work should be appreciated. i’m sorry, if someone is homophobic i don’t have to appreciate them.

- JM on

Just a question.. why wouldnt you “appreciate” someone that does charity work? you may not agree with any of their beliefs or way of life for that matter, but when they are helping people whether they are children or adults whats not to appreciate about that? you have no clue why people are the way they are, or what they went through to cause them to be the way they are. you should never judge someone until you have walked a mile in their shoes, because you have no clue what they have been through.im sure alot of people that do charity work have some kind of belief that someone is not gonna agree with at one point or another, so no one should appreciate them for helping the people who need it?

- lori on

Gosh, what a beautiful family! The youngest boy looks just like his dad. They are picture perfect, happy to see a former child star grow up to lead a “normal” happy life.

- Staci on

i appreciate people doing charity work that doesn’t mean i have to appreciate the person. i can’t really express it any other way, it’s just obvious to me… if someone is racist i can’t appreciate them as it is hateful and wrong and something you can choose to change if you want to. i’m not debating that someone may have had a difficult background (although that isn’t the case for kirk) but racism is racism. or is it ok for some people to be racist but not others? a racist person might rescue puppies for a living, that’s a nice thing to do, does that mean that i have to appreciate who they are as a person? that just doesn’t make sense to me…

- JM on

Maksim has the same exact smile as his dad, so cute!

- Rebecca on

JM- Ive been reading with great amusement your comments on Kirk Cameron who’s not even pictured and it seems through your posts that you certainly believe in freedom of speech, religion or lack thereof and generally YOUR right to say and do what you want. Well how is being the “openminded” person you pretend to be that you can’t allow someone else to say, feel and believe how they want to? Is it not the right of Kirk and Candace Cameron to believe in God and the bible and yes, gasp, also speak on their beliefs? Are they physically hurting you? Nope, not all. Do you have to read or listen to them? Again No you do not. But guess what they are very much entitled to be against some things you may believe in. Get over yourself, you say what you want Allow everyone else to do the same. So funny people like you only believe in freedoms for like minded thinkers.

- Shea on

She looks so great. I am very happy for her.

- Kadi on

oh shea, i wish you had said something about me that is actually true so that i could treat your comment like something that had been logically reasoned and argued. sadly you have chosen to just make something up. i have never said they aren’t ALLOWED to have their opinions, or religion or whatever. does that mean i have to like it? i wouldn’t say that someone who is racist has to be absolutely forced to change who they are, does that mean i have to like it? no. i have never actually said that the fact that they are evangelical christians is the thing that bothers me about them, yet another fact that you just completely made up. i did say that i had a problem with kirk’s homophobia and i stand by that. i never said he had to change for ME, america is supposedly a free country so of course he can have whatever opinion he likes, again, that doesn’t mean i have to like it or that i have to like him.
try, if you’re going to attack me, to please at least refer to what i actually said, otherwise your comments just end up looking ridiculous.

- JM on

Doesn’t all Christian churches teach about the importance of treating others as you would like to be treated? Almost all non-Christian religions also teach this.

Personally, if we all lived our lives by this motto, the world would truly be an amazing place.

- Catey on

JM your words bashing their religion: “if you want me to talk about candance instead of kirk i could say all sorts of things about her religion and how ridiculous i find it,”
More words from you JM:”just because i find the views of many fundamentalist evangelical christians abhorrent? well traci’s post kind of proves my point. what she said is TO ME as disgusting as racism and i will not apologise for that opinion.” Your words! I did read what you wrote perhaps you should go back and take a look as well.
You want everyone to accept your views on homosexuality but you find it perfectly acceptable to bash Christians. I stand by what I posted to you. You are only tolerant to someone who shares your views! Your logic is that You can come here and bash Christians but if they say something back to you on the subject they are racists or stupid, which I find offensive.

- Shea on

ok shea, i thought you might pick out those comments, neglecting to mention that in both those cases i was just actually stating my opinion. i didn’t say their religion WAS ridiculous, just that i FIND it ridiculous, i didn’t say that the views of many fundamentalist christians ARE abhorrent, just that i FIND them abhorrent, i even capitalised the TO ME bit in what i said. they are my opinions.
again, i can only repeat what i said, that i accept people’s right to have an opinion but that doesn’t mean i have to like it.

a genuine question to you, if you find out someone is racist do you say, oh that is wonderful, or do you say that you find that a disgusting and abhorrent view to have? because if it’s the latter then it’s exactly what i am saying. we have freedom of speech, that doesn’t mean you have to like everything someone says. i understand that, which is why all i have stated all along are my opinions.

and just as a side note, you say that i say whatever i like about christians but don’t accept people saying homophobic things. well that’s a bit different. people CHOOSE to be christian (or any other religion). people do not CHOOSE to be gay, how can you criticise someone for the way they were born. again, compare it with racism, i think you might be singing a different tune.

so i still fail to see how you have pointed out where i denied anyone their right to have an opinion, i just said that i hated hmophobic opinions.
do you see the difference? i just hate being wrongly accused of things.

- JM on

JM- I’m not shea, obviously, but I see her point, and I agree with her. First of all, to answer the question you asked: “a genuine question to you, if you find out someone is racist do you say, oh that is wonderful, or do you say that you find that a disgusting and abhorrent view to have?”

My answer is: I would do neither. If it was a person I didn’t know at all, or only knew very, very slightly, I’d probably keep my opinion to myself. If it was a family member or friend, however, I’d probably tell them that I think it’s awful to say things like that about people. Basically, I wouldn’t criticize the person for having those views, but rather for choosing to express those views in that manner.

To put it another way, I am Christian (I don’t know whether you are or not, and I apologize in advance if you aren’t and this offends you in any way), and the Bible teaches us to hate the sin, not the sinner!
