Amanda Peet Expecting Second Child

Anita Bugge/WireImage

There is much to be thankful for this holiday season for Amanda Peet and her husband of three years, screenwriter David Benioff!

A rep for the 2012 actress confirms to PEOPLE that she’s pregnant with the couple’s second child. Further information, including a due date, was not provided.

Baby-on-the-way will join 2 ½-year-old big sister Frances ‘Frankie’ Pen, who was born in February 2007.

So, will there be any more additions to the family after this? Not if Amanda can help it.

“I think we want more,” the actress, 37, told PEOPLE shortly after Frankie’s birth. David, she says, “wants three, but I’m old, I’m an old lady. Two is enough.”

hehe i love the name Frankie for a girl. i think it might be a boy this time around :) either way, its awesome!

- Milla on

ahah if she thinks she’s old at 37, I wonder how she’ll feel at 70 (and I’m younger than her)! Congrats! Frankie is so cute, and I love her name too (Frances is on my list).

Hi, I just want to say congratulations to Amanda and her family. Her little daughter is just adorable and is a mini me of Amanda. Hoping she has a great rest of the pregnancy and I would love for her to have another little girl! I am partial to girls as I have 2 of my own!

- Sandy on

LOL @ Annie – I was thinking the same thing! I’m a year older than her and I don’t think I’m old at all! She’s gonna be beat down by the time she’s 50 if she feels old now! :)

I’ve always loved the name frances for either a girl or a boy granted spelled differently as I said before congrats to the family

- Courtney on

Oh my goodness! I love her! Congratulations, David and Amanda! Baby #2 will be gorgeous. Guaranteed.

I used to say that about myself when I was pregnant with my 2nd child at age 35. I think I said it because my mom was 23 when she had me and my sister. Mind you, she’s a funny lady too and maybe saying it cause she likes to make people laugh.

- Sarah on

Well she is right, chances of having more kids naturally at her age are slim and will decrease every day. So in child bearing terms she is old.

- Anna on

Um…I think she meant “old” as in older to start having babies. And if you consider most girls get their periods at 12ish…37 IS old to have babies. That’s just nature whether or not it’s the way of our generation.

- Riley on

Just turned 32 and I call myself old, even though I still feel like a kid!

Lovely news! i loved watching her pregnancy grow during Studio 60 on the Sunset strip, she had her daughter a few months after i had mine. I’m also due again with #2. :)

What wonderful news! I bet the baby will have beautiful eyes, too. :)

Ahhh, 37′s not old. Not even to have kids. Lots of women doing it everyday and giving birth to healthy babies. Go for it, I say.

Does anyone know when she is actually due this time? I’m due July 10th. I’m guessing she is due around the same time, give or take a couple of weeks…
