Baby on the Way for Gary Busey

The new year will bring a new arrival for actor and reality star Gary Busey and girlfriend Steffanie Sampson — the couple has a baby on the way.

Gary’s agent and longtime attorney, Vicki Roberts of Kismet Talent Agency, tells PEOPLE that his girlfriend is seven months pregnant with a boy they have named Luke.

“He feels awesome about it, he’s excited and thrilled and can’t wait,” Roberts says.

Gary, 65, is already dad to a son, actor Jake Busey, and a daughter, Alectra, from previous relationships.

He will next be seen in the 2010 comedy Grown Ups.

He has lived a very tough life with drug and alcohol abuse and was in a serious accident a few years back. I wish them the best, they may need it!

To each his own and sorry if this may upset some but I cant understand why men in thir 60′s + want to have children(another example,celine dion’s husband),its unfair on the child ,I have a nice who is 11 and her dad(my brother in law) is 68 and she gets teased merciless in school. When this child graduates highschool,Mr Busey will be in his 80′s.

Congrats on the baby! If she’s 7 months, that means she’s due in February! I am 7 1/2 months preggers n am due February 14,2010. She looks way bigger than me if were due around the same time.

My grandfather, is 67, no joke, well actually he’s a great grandfather now too! I don’t understand what makes elderly (elderly would be appropriate here) people think it’s a good idea to have babies. Do they think they’re going to live forever? (yes I know people in their 20′s and 30′s die too) How is a 75 year old going to keep up with a wild 10 year old? At least the mother is young…they look happy so we all need to be nice…

My uncle have his last kid when he was 62 ( his wife is 22 years younger) ….Now he is 76 and in very good condition and his youngest daughter was never ashamed of having older father

Ive never winced so much when finding out someone was having a baby…honestly hes not all there. It has nothing to do with his age for me its his mental stability which isnt very strong. I dunno how she deals with him…

Wow some people are so freakin rude. You know my mother always told me if you have nothing nice to say….keep your mouth shut!!!!

I like Gary as an actor and like anyone else he has struggled w/ fame and the ramifications of excess but you know what? Who cares, he has taken steps to get his behaviour and vices under control and is about to welcome a child into the world.

You people critisizing him need to get off the couch and stop watching celebrity rehab and all these other scripted reality shows and wonder if you all are prizes to your own kids!!!!

I hope they have a healthy baby and that he takes his time to heal and deal w/ his demond. Good luck to them

I always found Gary to be a very profound individual. If you just listen to him speak, I think you will agree.

This is his 3rd child and the other two turned out fine so best of luck to Gary and his girlfriend.
