Julie Bowen and Twins' Weekend Walk

GSI Media

Actress — and mom of three under three! — Julie Bowen sets out for a stroll on Saturday with fraternal twin sons John and Gus, 7 months.

Julie, 40, who plays Claire on the new hit show Modern Family, is also mom to son Oliver McLanahan, 2 ½, with husband Scott Phillips.

Modern Family airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on ABC.

Julie pushes John and Gus in a Baby Jogger City Mini Double ($400). The blue is no longer available, but other colors can be found at various online retailers.

I never knew who Julie Bowne really was until Modern Family but I love her now!! She’s very funny on and off screen! Her boys are very cute!

I love all her boys names! Simple timeless and strong names!

I love their little hats. So adorable.

I just wanted to say that these are the best double strollers. The Baby Jogger City Mini is the only double that I’ve used, and I’ve tried five or six, that actually fit through all doorways. There is an almost full-recline on both sides and excellent canopy coverage. They are relatively light-weight and excellent quality with all kinds of thoughtful extras. If you need an all-terrain, the Baby Jogger line makes one with air-filled tires, but I found that this one worked well for all but mountain hiking. Gravel roads and grass were no problem. I know a good double can be a challenge to find, so I thought I would share my experience with this stroller. :)

I LOVE Modern Family-it’s one of only a handful of shows I make a point to watch each week. Anyone who hasn’t seen it should definitely check it out.

Today is World Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome Awareness Day! Spread the word! TTTS affects multiples sharing a placenta in utero. (Fraternal twins like Julie Bowen’s here are not affected by it.)

If you are pregnant with twins or multiples sharing a placenta, please get educated on TTTS!

About the photo, cute babies, and I wish I had that stroller for my twin guys.

the baby jogger city mini double is a great stroller but not very good at all for walks outside- i’m returning mine and sticking with my elite double instead! not too big and much much better for outside (big air tires) and my tall toddler fits with room to grow (he’s kinda cramped in the mini). hth all looking at double strollers!!

This is indeed the best stroller out there. The Baby Jogger City Elite double is wayyyy to heavy, not to mention bulky and difficult to steer. I recommend this one (i have it in black) to all mothers with 2 young ones to cart around. I used mine with the carseat adaptor and it worked well and now that they girls are bigger (almost 4 and almost 1), we use the bumper bar and snack tray. Just thought I would share. The canopies are great also and the stroller suits newborns and toddlers well.

I bought the same double pram about a month ago – purely for walking (sidewalks, road, shops) and it’s awesome!! I’m so glad I got it – so I’m happy to make a comment just in case you’re looking for a decent double pram. I walk with it at least 4 times a week, such a good pram for my 2 little ones.

The only thing that bothers me (not that much though) is the bottom storage basket sags whenever I put something in there. Sometimes I can hear my water bottle dragging on the ground! A sturdy insert will help that though.

i’m surprised everyone here likes this stroller for outdoor walks- i tired it out the other day and the front wheels were SO loud and bumpy! My elite glides outside and the ride is not bumpy at all. Maybe i’m just spoilded by the elite vs. mini…and the sunshades on the elite are HUGE :)

cute babies!!! does anyone know if they are identical twins or fraternal twins?

- jacob black lover on

@JACOB BLACK LOVER it says so on the post that they are FRATERNAL TWINS :)

I’m glad to see these little guys (so cute!) and what looks to be a semi-happy Julie Bowen, here. Seems like every interview I hear or see with her she’s complaining about something her kids or doing or how exhausted she is, how she has no life, how they want her attention all the time or that they fight or cry all the time, blah blah blah. I want to say, welcome to motherhood, lady, and get over it! Maybe it’s just me, but she annoys me to no end that way. The babies are so sweet though!
