Mom-to-be Padma Lakshmi makes a bold statement in red as she arrives at Indochine‘s 25th Anniversary celebration, held November 20th in New York City.

The Top Chef host, 39, expects her first child in late March/early April. She told Jimmy Kimmel last week that she’s feeling “totally blissed out” and enjoying her pregnancy, although she’s not sharing the sex of the baby!

I have to say this pregnancy really suits her. She is glowing!

She must be so excited about this unexpected surprise. I agree with Sunny – pregnancy suits her (although, I can’t imagine her looking anything less than stunning – ever).

She looks amazing!

She looks ridiculously good. Much better than a bunch of supermodels we’ve seen pregnant recently.

Absolutely gorgeous–color and shape of the dress really suits her; Padma is glowing!! :)

Beautiful woman, beautiful bump! Dress is gorgeous too.

I wonder where she got that scar on her arm?

- Nikki on

Nikki, she was in a car accident when she was a teen.

It should be a crime to look this fabulous when pregnant. It’s just not fair to the rest of us darnit.

She looks amazing! I am guessing it’s a boy. It’s always such a miracle to see someone who has struggled with getting pregnant finally basking in the joy of it. congrats!

yeah she looks fabulous as usual and I’m also betting it’s a boy as she looks so small as usually with a girl the belly and the mothers face is fuller and since padmas face lacks that obvious fullness I think she’s having a boy but it doesn’t matter either way as long as the baby is healthy
